I really liked the challenge figuring out certain scenarios like the elf magician mission. It was worth the low $2.99, but the writing expresses some disturbing views of women. Binding the female dwarf paladins to the warriors guild? And the harpy scenario defending polygamy was really unnecessary. For me it takes away from the charm of the game. I’m also disappointed they didn’t include more from the original games like the bond between the barbarians and rangers. And there aren’t rogues, taverns, or the other temples. I understand they can’t make an exact replica so this is fine and brings back memories of playing the PC game. ### 3/5 — Good *2024-07-02, version 1.4.15* The game is good. I love the artstyle and the building your kingdom up is fun, but there are unfun elements. Some missions are sometimes randomly hard, you can overcome this by choosing the right strategy, with this new problem comes. The strategies are not very expanded. Conclusion I have come to is that warriors, paladins, healers are the most reliable one. With very strong payoff with the spells (the ressurect spell is way better than its necromancer counterpart and cheaper). Your heroes almost never die and it will steamroll most enemies. Elven bungalow is useful, Dwarfs too (especially their tower, also their magic resistance). Mages are strong when you level them up and necromancer are strong when they learn to control undead. But I still think paladins and healers are better. Campaign missions are basic as heck sometimes. Its alright game, but its sometimes weird difficulty and some strategies being not interesting or worse than other makes it bit boring. But it fixes the build your stuff tick. 🙂 ### 5/5 — When is the next one going to come out? *2022-12-03, version 1.4.15* I first played majesty as a child and always come back to play it because of its replay value, but it's slowly losing that now. Hopefully we'll get a newer majesty soon, with new heroes/towers/monsters/maps all of that. 🙏 ### 5/5 — The developers should ask for more *2022-10-11, version 1.4.15* I would have easily paid $9.99 for this game. It's a solid kingdom management simulator. No ads, no intrusive in-game notifications. This game was developed a long, long time ago... why aren't there better kingdom management simulators after all this time? Sadly this super dated game is still the best we've got imo. I'm not really interested in playing pay-to-play games that attempt to fill it's shoes. ### 5/5 — Dumb fun *2022-01-17, version 1.4.15* I’ve loved this original game for years. Was stoked to find the Northern Kingdom version recently. A game that isn’t demanding my money all the time is pretty nice. Затягивает, это да. Проходил уровень с Древним драконом. Не получалось его победить. Я не могу бросить что-то, не доведя до конца. В итоге на этом уровне выбрал следующую тактику. Из войск только паладины и 4 лекаря. Башню мага прокачал до третьего уровня, чтобы открылась возможность колдовать на дракона грозовую тучу с молниями. Обычная молния второго уровня на него не действовала. Паладины атаковали и разбудили дракона. После этого я атаковал дракона заклинанием. Так удалось пройти на Пацифисте. Потом прошёл ещё уровень с освобождением дракона, построив храм Крольма, и уровень с борьбой против беженцев, используя некромантов и гномов, а также построив гильдию магов, чтобы колдовать невидимость на своих. В итоге посмотрел, что уже три часа ночи, и удалил игру. В игре реализовано много интересных решений. Но слишком мало действия на единицу времени. Приходится долго ждать. I was very happy to find them in the App store! I wish that the apps had more of the buildings that I remember the PC version having- especially the building that let you train your heroes to make them stronger. There is also a cap on the number of heroes you can have in the app and I don't remember the PC version doing that. It's still fun and I love being able to play on my iPad from the comfort of my couch! I started playing as a child when it was first released. Even as an adult, I always download this game to revisit the nostalgic and unique Majesty gameplay. I have finally achieved all Gold Medals on Bloodthirsty difficulty, which took nearly 2 weeks of intense focus. It was incredibly challenging, and I thoroughly appreciate the experience. I will continue to enjoy this game for the foreseeable future and share with my friends.
