LONG STORY: WHY WE ARE HERE
Every day, there’s the same question: “What am I going to cook?”. There are food videos, cooking blogs, saved posts, screenshots, bookmarks, and recipe collections everywhere. But when it’s actually time to cook, they often don’t answer the more useful question: “What can I make with what I already have?”. Ideally, it should be tasty, reasonably healthy, and not too hard to make.

The person behind this app got tired of dealing with that question every day. The person behind this app got tired of dealing with that question every day. They tried saving meal ideas, organizing recipes, and reading probably too much about food and nutrition. But none of it quite solved the problem. Recipe apps give you thousands of recipes. Healthy eating guides tell you what you should eat. Bloggers have great ideas that eventually disappear somewhere in your saved posts.

make it hot is built around one simple request:
— so, I have these ingredients, what can I cook right now?

Tell it what you have, and it will help you turn it into a real meal. You can choose how difficult the recipe should be and what kind of cuisine you want, and add any allergens to avoid. If you need something unusual, the app suggests ingredients you can find in local shops and markets.

Tell the app what you have, and it will help turn those ingredients into a meal. You can choose how difficult you want the recipe to be, what kind of cuisine you’re in the mood for, and your dietary preferences.

It makes everyday cooking much easier. At least, it made the author’s life much easier.

There are more ideas on the way, so new features and improvements are coming. If something bothers you, something is missing, or you have an idea, tell us. The person behind make it hot cares about this app a lot and reads every message.
