## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 3.0.15 — 2024-07-14

Our biggest update yet, this new version of the app introduces a new feature we call, “Learning Levels,” which delivers three-times more recommended questions, conversation-starters, and fun activities than previously offered on the app and is accessible in bite-size amounts each time you revisit a story.

New accessibility options allow users to tailor their reading experience by giving the option to toggle between languages while actively reading without interrupting the immersive reading experience, change the book’s text size, and enable a new dyslexia font option, for those who need it.

The new introductory tutorial has been revised to show families how to make the most of the new features on the Make Way for Books App.

### 2.1.5 — 2020-09-30

We added a brand new feature to help you track your child's progress: the Learning Journal!
Now, after marking a book or an activity "done," you will have the option to make a journal entry for your child, so that you can look back on what you have done together and see what your child has learned. You can also add new vocabulary words to your child's Paula Palabras word log.
We are hard at work making this feature even better, and we would love your feedback: app@makewayforbooks.org!

### 2.1.2 — 2020-03-26

Dear friends, we have released an updated version of the app that includes several big changes! We hope that you enjoy the following new features:

First, we have created a new tutorial to help new users explore what the app can do and to help you navigate changes to the layout of the app.

Second, the app is now organized into sections by age range, so you'll find books and activities organized into Infant, Toddler, and Preschool sections. Books and activities you mark "done" or "loved" will show up in "Our page."

Third, we now have a "Download" feature for our Read Now books, so that you can save them to your device and share them during those times when you may not have a good data or wifi signal.

Finally, our settings page is much simpler to use. We have also added lots of new books, content, and video throughout the app. Activities with video are now highlighted separately from activities that do not have video.

We are always trying to make this app the best it can be, and we hope that it helps you have many loving interactions with your children around books.

Thank you,
Fernando
