Do you want to design furniture for your home in 3D? Make something for your workshop? or create DIY furniture plans that you can share with family and friends?

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced DIYer, you can use MakeByMe software to quickly create your furniture design in 3D , view your furniture in the context of your home then easily bring your ideas to life with automatically generated DIY plans that helps make DIY stress free.

**Design your next DIY furniture project**
Easy and intuitive to use, MakeByMe allows you to design any DIY project using real material, tools and joinery methods. Simple add from the library of standard DIY materials such as 2x4 or plywood, then drag, rotate and snap your material quickly into position. Some design features are;

- Add standard material like 2x4 lumber, plywood, metal tubing, glass
- Drag and drop material and snap into place
- Use common join methods such as pocket holes, hinges, drawer rails and dados
- Realistic animated behaviour such as doors and drawers
- Cut straight or miter cuts with the cut tool
- Add detailing using holes and common shape cut tool
- Add colour and style to your design

**Make with auto generated cut list plans**
With MakeByMe, DIY plans have never been simpler. Interactive 3D assembly steps, stock materials, cut list and cut list diagrams are automatically updated as you design to help you start making and building your furniture. Some plan features are;

- Visualise the DIY build sequence with 3d steps
- Buy only the material you need with optimised materials lists
- Visualise and plan your cuts with cut diagrams and cut lists

### 1/5 — Frequent Plan Loss

I am a woodworker and am trying this with the intention to by it or something similar. 

I have made several plans and found the app easy to use even if it is missing some needed features. 

My problem is with the stability of the saved plans. 5x now plans have become corrupted requiring me to start over from scratch, costing me many hours of rework. These corruptions have occurred in both the iPhone app and my Windows browser.

I like the program but can no longer trust it. Bummer.

It won’t let me make an account. it keeps saying I already have an account even though I don’t. It won’t let me log into the account,I supposedly have even though I’m pretty sure I don’t actually have an account. I tried using a different email address and I had the same problem. It also won’t email me a link to reset my password for the account that I supposedly have.

All these apps are just too complicated.  If I want to build a cabinet just let me put in the size, choose ‘panel’ and then move to join.  Going back and forth to choose materials…then size, then place is ridiculous.  You make it much too difficult for easy projects.  Do you people work for the government???  Sure seems like it….you take a simple project plan and make it so frustrating people just quit.  I can do my own plan drawings in half the time it takes to choose materials, size them, place them, try to readjust to make fit, THIS IS A WORTHLESS APP.  Guess people who use it just don’t have the intelligence to use a ruler and pencil.

Would be cool if it did. But it will not reopen any of my projects. Deleted after being frustrated with it for two days.

It’s a nice app but the manual save is annoying especially given that it has a bug where the app doesn’t recover from the screen locking - I have to close it and reopen it - so if you get distracted and you haven’t saved in a while… bye bye work.

L’application est génial et vraiment simple d’utilisation je conseille fortement néanmoins j’aurais quelques suggestions : il faudrait rajouter plus de matériaux pour le bois comme du mdr ou de l’agglomérer comme ça on sera plus sur de ce qu’on choisi. Ensuite il faudrait qu’on puisse changer la couleur de la féraille pied, poignet, etc.. en doré par exemple. Ensuite je trouve qu’au niveau des pied de meuble il n’y a pas beaucoup de choix il faudrait augmenter le registre, pour les autres feraille il y a une bonne diversité donc c’est ok. Ensuite ce serait bien de rajouter d’autres accessoires comme des plantes ou autre afin de mieux s’immerger dans notre création et enfin ce serait idéale de pouvoir ouvrir les portes de nos meubles pour avoir une vue intérieur. Voilà ce ne sont que des conseil et franchement c’est la meilleure appli pour crée des meuble que j’ai vu même pour moi qui est débutant c’est génial encore bravo.

I’ve actually don’t think I’ve ever made a review before. This app is genius n quickly to catch on how to use. There’s a couple minor kinks n glitches but I suspect over time they will fix them. Even with them it’s still pretty amazing you can virtually basically build or make with real construction material n other materials. Different types of metals n woods n different sizes. It also then breaks down what you made into a step by step instructions for you to make it in real life including materials/tools list. I think this is my new favourite app.

I love this app but unfortunately it has serious glitch issues resulting in loss of your entire project while working on it, which as we all know, is a huge bummer. I want it to work so badly so I can love it even more! Either projects won’t open, app will freeze, project will disappear, etc. Hopefully the flaws/glitches will get repaired in updates but I don’t know that I’ll stick around long enough to find out because of reasonable frustrations. No app support so not much else to try!
