## What is MakeFit?

Your workouts are changing your biological age. MakeFit shows you exactly how.

Every session, every night of sleep, every rest day — tracked and scored against your Body Age, a real-time fitness indicator built from VO2 max estimates, heart rate recovery, sleep consistency, strength volume, and training zone distribution.

JOIN YOUR COMMUNITY
Compare your biological age and aging rate on shared leaderboards. See who's improving fastest. Get personalized recommendations based on real health data, not algorithms optimized for engagement.

DAILY READINESS & RECOVERY
Vitals scores combine sleep quality (duration, efficiency, consistency) with daytime recovery signals so you know whether to push or rest before you start.

TRAINING THAT ADAPTS
The workout recommender adjusts daily and weekly targets to your actual recovery state — cardiovascular, strength, and rest balanced against your fitness trend, not a fixed plan.

AI FITNESS COACH — FULLY ON DEVICE
On supported devices with Apple Intelligence, your health coach processes everything locally. Nothing leaves your phone. No cloud, no profile, no exposure.

ADVANCED WORKOUT ANALYSIS
Heart rate zones, training distribution, heart rate recovery curves, 42-day fitness trend with projection. Every metric feeds back into Body Age.

SLEEP DEFICIT TRACKING
Cumulative 3-day sleep deficit model with visual alert. Bedtime notifications use fresh, context-aware data — not a fixed schedule.

### 5/5 — Fantastic app

*2026-01-25*

I really like that the app is fully local and private with the health data

### 2/5 — Doesn't sync unless you open the app

*2017-11-20*

.

**Developer response:** Hi, just making it clear that this is for an much older version, from basically ten years ago, that was using Pebble watch to sync, if you remember that wonderful thing. Has nothing to do with the current version of the app, absolutely no code is being shared. Completely different MakeFit, just name share.

### 5/5 — Must download for pebble users

*2015-07-09*

Great app for tracking workouts I have a Bluetooth heart rate monitor it it seemly connected to the watch for easy phone less HR viewing. I searched for an hour trying to find an app with this functionality and this I the only one I found that was free.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 4.3 — 2026-08-24

Your Rate of Aging moves. Now MakeFit tells you why. The new "What Changed" card on the Body Age tab compares this week to last, metric by metric: "Zone 2-3 154 → 123 min/wk · Sleep Efficiency 94 → 93%". Pick Yesterday, 7 days, or 30 days — and on your very first launch, MakeFit rebuilds the last 30 days from Apple Health so the answer is there from day one.

Explore your history
In Body Age Explained, scrub the Rate of Aging chart to compare any point against the previous reading — the breakdown follows your finger.

Honest numbers, plainly explained
When your headline holds the day's best reading and the comparison uses the underlying computes, a plain sentence reconciles the two. No mystery rows, no unexplained math.

A calmer, more consistent Body Age tab
All three cards — Where It Comes From, What's Moving It, What Changed — now share one visual language.

Fixed
- The "Access Your Health Data" screen can no longer appear right after you granted access.
- Home fills in on the first launch after onboarding — no pull-to-refresh needed.
- Reinstalling with Health access already granted now still asks for age and sex when Apple Health lacks them.
- In maintaining, one session completes your day everywhere.

Also from 4.2

HR Recovery, rebuilt
HR Recovery is now measured once per workout — one robust one-minute recovery — and your number is the typical value across workouts. The old method read high. Expect your number to drop and Body Age to shift about a year with it. Nothing about you changed; the measurement got honest.

What's Moving It, clearer
Each Body Age driver shows its standing and its years separately — "HR Recovery, Thriving, −1.5 yrs".

Body Age you can trust
No headline from a partial read; big workout libraries no longer cut the read short; the widget stays in step while recalculating; closing the app mid-refresh no longer throws away six months of work.

Fixed
- Today's Lever and Progress could stay empty for a whole session after a workout or an update.
- A slow App Store check can no longer hide your Pro subscription; Restore Purchases says when it found nothing.
- Sign in with Apple on a slow connection no longer bounces you back to the button.
- Fitness streak can't be reset by a training load that is still syncing.
- The trial line no longer goes missing on the paywall; reopening mid-setup offers Continue.

### 4.2.2 — 2026-08-19

HR Recovery, rebuilt
HR Recovery is now measured once per workout - one robust one-minute recovery - and your number is the typical value across workouts. The old method read high: one workout could count several times, and rest between sets counted as recovery. Expect your number to drop and Body Age to shift about a year with it. Nothing about you changed; the measurement got honest. Lifting and combat sports move the most.

What's Moving It, clearer
Each Body Age driver now shows its standing and its years separately - "HR Recovery, Thriving, -1.5 yrs" instead of one blended word.

Body Age you can trust
- No headline from a partial read: if your workout history didn't fully load, Body Age waits instead of showing a number 3-5 years off.
- Big workout libraries no longer cut the read short.
- The widget stays in step with the app while it recalculates.
- Closing the app mid-refresh no longer throws away six months of work.

Fixed
- Today's Lever and Progress could stay empty for a whole session right after a workout or an update. Now you get your real training load, minus only what your Watch hasn't synced yet, and it refines once the sync lands. If the day's first recommendation was built while that sync was still in progress, it is redrawn once when the real numbers arrive.
- Your Pro subscription can no longer be hidden by a slow App Store check. If the App Store doesn't answer promptly we keep what we last knew, and a purchase or restore takes effect from the receipt itself.
- Restore Purchases now tells you when it couldn't find a subscription instead of spinning.
- Sign in with Apple on a slow connection no longer bounces you back to the sign-in button, and "Continue without signing in" waits for a real answer before moving on.
- Fitness streak can't be reset by a training load that is still syncing.
- The "1-week free" trial line no longer goes missing on the paywall when eligibility loads slowly.
- Reopening mid-setup shows a Continue button instead of a bare "Restoring your setup" screen.
- Tidied Health permission wording and subscription pricing.
