Unfortunately, I have not received any response or update regarding the status of my refund. The Saudi Arabia customer support number does not work, and there is no direct way to contact customer service. This has been a very frustrating experience. My hotel confirmed in writing that my booking was cancelled and that the refund was processed without deductions. Despite this, MakeMyTrip refunded only a small portion of the money and repeatedly failed to provide a clear financial breakdown explaining where the remaining amount went. I spent weeks contacting customer support, the hotel, and my payment provider. Every time I received generic responses instead of a proper explanation. Because of this, I continued being charged by my payment provider while waiting for MakeMyTrip to resolve the issue. If something goes wrong with your booking or refund, be prepared for a very frustrating experience. I expected transparency and accountability, but unfortunately I received neither. Their service has gone from bad to completely unreliable, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid booking through them. 1. Impossible to reach Customer Care: It is virtually impossible to connect with their customer support. Calls either don’t go through or drop, and their chat/support system constantly throws errors. It feels like you’re trying to connect to a radio station that never answers — endless waiting with zero resolution. 2. Paid for Emergency Exit Seat but Received a Normal Seat: On my recent flight from Sharjah to Kannur, I specifically selected and paid a premium for an emergency exit seat. To my shock, I was assigned a regular seat. I immediately emailed them requesting a refund for the extra amount paid, but I have received no response whatsoever. Complete silence. 3. No Refund on Cancelled Flight Even After a Month: I cancelled my Dubai to Kannur flight booked last month, yet the refund has still not been processed. Every attempt to reach customer support for an update fails — the system shows errors and never connects. It’s been over a month with no refund and no communication. MakeMyTrip has completely failed on basic promises — seat selection, refunds, and customer support. They take your money easily but disappear when you need help. But, these people are not responsible as per their terms for cancellation and they wouldn’t refund any of that fee, except what airline or hotel. These guys have kept giving me all possible excuses. Totally done with there service. Nobody really seems to care. No iptions were available to select check in time and no information given about cancellation policy before payment . When I called the hotel they said no rooms available and when I contacted customer service he said straight it is my responsibility to be aware and not to be scammed. But the hotel management called me and said that “ the hotel room is fulled so that you should cancel the booking (“ they says in polite”). Then i called makemytrip and asked about this . The Ai assistant is so rude and didn’t connect me to the makemytrip staff . At last i wanted to be rude , then the AI assistant connected me to the staff . Because the room is on terrace it is open and no safety no security and the main thing while I am booking the hotel I have checked in to the particularly saying safe environment particularly suitable for solo female travellers. There is no use of checking that option at least no consideration from your end especially for solo women travellers , I kindly recommend strongly to remove that Option from ur end which is absolutely meaningless and worthless.The terrace was using by men during the laundry and spreading the clothes there u can find the same in the above attached video. It’s only one room in the terrace and no any other rooms and accessible to any body to enter the room and I strongly Cobden for allotting this type of unsafe room to lady solo travellers. Even the prices are getting varied from the first stage to the final stage of booking and price got jumped and the final price got doubled by the end.I strongly not recommend and got very disappointed hope is there any option I would recommend 0 rating ### 1/5 — Contact *2026-08-07, version 10.4.0* No easy way to contact customer service.
