The guy cheats, beats his wife, throws her out into the cold and is incredibly abusive towards her and their daughter. Or she is “ugly, overweight, smells etc” or she’s just had a baby so it’s her fault he’s cheating. Or when he’s poking holes in condoms to trap her into pregnancy. It’s vile!! If you’re a woman that’s been through any form of of abusive, controlling, coercive behaviour, these adverts can be a major trigger. It’s also incredibly frustrating because they don’t even have anything to do with the game and can feel like society is normalising this behaviour. Stop normalising this. Children are seeing this.
