You need to understand that the top part of fractions is for the top fraction numbers and the denominator is the bottom part of the fractions. But after i got that i could figure out any number! But paying a subscription for a calculator? Give me a break. I use this daily for woodworking, CAD design & 3d printing. And when customers attempt to convert metric Festool measurements when they come in to the Woodcraft store where I work a couple of days a week, I just pull up the app, and, easy peasy, give them the Imperial equivalent! ### 5/5 — Use it every day *2025-07-30, version 2.0.1* I’m a woodworker and who’s made my share of fraction-related mistakes. More than I’d care to admit. And yes, I could switch to metric like some of my other woodworking friends, but I don’t want to. I use this app nearly every day. It’s well laid out, easy to see with my older eyes, and it does basic fractional math really well. I especially like the bar graph the app displays when a number is between your selected precision - you can quickly tell if, for example, the result is closer to 3/32” or 1/8”, and by how much. I continue to be amazed at how many times I refer to it, and how little I refer to all the cheat cheats I have laying around my shop. This app was very well thought out both from a user interface and from a functionality standpoint. I strongly encourage any maker that needs to deal with fractions, decimals, metric, conversions, etc. To download the trial and play with it a while. ### 5/5 — My Most Used App *2023-08-09, version 1.0.1* This is definitely my most used app on my phone. I install high end cabinetry down to the 32nd each day and to mess up on calculations could cost the company tons of money, this thing has saved me numerous of times! ### 5/5 — Finer granularity required - Update *2023-08-07, version 1.0.1* With the exception of the round up, round down feature (which is fantastic) the calculator is comparable to the free calculators already out there. If the round up, round down, granularity could be changed from 1/ 16th, to a 32nd, or better yet a 64th I would buy it in a heartbeat. The ability to change granularity is present. I just didn’t look hard enough. That being said this app was a life saver. I recently had a baby and wanted to build a crib as I couldn’t find one that wasn’t cheaply made or outrageously expensive.
