## What is MakerFolio?

Every maker has a project worth remembering. MakerFolio gives you the perfect home for all of them.

Whether you build furniture in a garage, sew garments from scratch, throw pottery, cast jewelry, or wire electronics — MakerFolio is the dedicated portfolio app built for the way makers think and work.

DOCUMENT EVERY BUILD
Capture your projects the way they deserve to be remembered. Add photos straight from your camera or library, write detailed build notes, list materials and tools, record measurements, and track every step of your process. Your knowledge. Organized. Preserved.

TRACK YOUR TIME & COSTS
Know exactly what each project costs you — in money and hours. Log your materials cost, additional expenses, and time spent. Add a selling price and MakerFolio automatically calculates your profit or loss. Perfect for hobbyists, craft sellers, and small-batch makers alike.

BEAUTIFUL PHOTO GALLERIES
Your work deserves to look its best. Add up to 10 photos at a time, reorder them with drag-and-drop, write captions, and mark your best shots as the featured image or finished product. Your project gallery becomes a visual record of every build.

STAY ORGANIZED YOUR WAY
Create custom categories that match how you work — by craft type, skill level, project status, or anything else. Add tags for quick filtering. Sort and group your projects exactly the way you think about them.

SHARE & EXPORT
Share your project as a .mfproject file via AirDrop, Messages, or iCloud Drive — photos included. Recipients can open it directly in MakerFolio.
Export a PDF of any project to share with clients, print for your shop, or post online.
Export a full catalog PDF of your entire portfolio — great for markets, commissions, or just showing off.
BUILT FOR iPHONE & iPAD
MakerFolio feels right at home on any Apple device. On iPad, enjoy a split-view layout that keeps your project list and details side by side. Dark Mode supported, of course.

### 5/5 — Great For People Who Start A Million Crafts!

*2026-03-15*

I have always struggled with starting drawings or projects and never finishing them because I forget or lose track of progress. This app makes it so easy to log your current projects/crafts so none of them get left behind!

### 5/5 — Finally an app that gets it

*2026-03-12*

I do leatherwork and a few other crafts and I had the same problem with all of them. I had notes in random places, measurements scribbled on paper, project photos completely lost in my camera roll mixed in with everything else. I'd spend way too long scrolling just to find a reference photo, let alone show someone a past project.

MakerFolio just... fixes that. Each project gets its own space with photos, notes, links etc. Everything that used to live in five different places now lives in one.

I also really appreciate being able to share a project easily. No more hunting through my camera roll when someone asks to see my work.

This will become something I use constantly. It's clear whoever built this actually makes things, because it covers exactly what you need without a bunch of stuff you don't. Highly recommend for any maker regardless of your craft.
