Is there a way of fixing this issue. ### 2/5 — Stuck after login *2023-06-11, version 8.2.1* I created an account and it immediately went to subscription options. However it won’t let me “x” out or even purchase a subscription so I’m just stuck on this page unable to access the app itself. ### 4/5 — App isn’t working *2022-11-19, version 8.2.1* I like the idea and would love to give it a shot. However I downloaded the app, created an account, verified my account. Then I went to sign in and it said I already had an account and that I would need to create a new account. I checked to see if I had attempted using this app in the best. I can’t find any evidence to suggest that I have. I tried resetting my password thinking I might have entered in a wrong password when creating my account but it made no difference. Is this app even still active? Am I trying to access an app that doesn’t work anymore? Several pages online are not available to access anymore. Including the page linked to customer support on the App Store. So this seems like the only way I might be able to talk to tech support. Let me know if I’m doing something obviously wrong. Otherwise I’m not sure this app is worth the frustration it’s put me through in an hour. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t even work *2022-05-01, version 8.2.1* As soon as I log in it always freezes and I can’t ever get a subscription because I can’t press any buttons. It’s a nice idea but it’s kinda a disappointment it costs money and it overall hasn’t even functioned for me when I try getting a subscription. Shouldn’t have autistic people pay to make friends even if it’s called a donation. I think other people should be donating. Not us for our own needs. If someone could fix the app enough for it to get past the login page then I’d try it again because my family and therapist believes I could really benefit from this app. ### 1/5 — WORST USER INTERFACE POSSIBLE *2022-04-21, version 8.2.1* What an absolute waste of money and time downloading this app that freezes, has poor loading and inactive buttons so you get stuck on screens you can’t exit. Terrible user interface and really disappointing. I want my money back. I don’t even know how to contact someone with this app bc it was so frozen and trash I couldn’t access the settings! Don’t waste your time! ### 2/5 — I want to love this app *2021-07-19, version 8.2.1* I do want to love this app, and maybe someday I will - though after 7 months I am relinquishing our subscription. The big problem may be beyond their control: the user base is not big enough, but is very diverse as far as ages, cognitive and physical abilities. I feel like getting some funding (investors/GoFundMe) so the developer can support herself, market and offer this service for free/pennies for several years - in order to build the user base and the value of the product/business (not because I expect it for free) - would be a better start up model. It would also be helpful to have more descriptors as far as cognitive abilities/challenges as age, diagnosis, and 3 interests are not always spectacular measures. Technical issues: 1. I enter in my son’s birthday on our profile (I’m caretaker and he’s 13), but in the list of potential friendships our profile is there (odd) and his age is 33. Which makes me wonder if any of the other ages are right? 2. I can’t upload a picture, because it says I have a custom avatar. 3. There have been times I can’t get rid of a signup splash screen despite being a subscriber. I want this to succeed so badly, and I think they can, but there are things to iron out. ### 1/5 — Disappointed 😞 *2021-05-14, version 8.2.1* I’m giving this app one star because I think the idea itself was a good one. However I didn’t get any results or make any connections with the people I tried to contact. The app itself is also very very slow. I want to try this app with and for her but there is no way to “sign up.” Help. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Feel conned *2024-11-12, version 9.0.4* If I could give this app no stars I would. Trying to find friends for our autistic 16yo daughter. Was forced to pay £4.99 for the first month just to see how many matches were found. There was 1 person in our area who didn’t meet the criteria. There are less that 2000 people world wide. This business model will never work charging people £4.99 a month in the hope that more people join. The app itself is awful in so many ways. Very slow and buggy and doesn’t do the very basic things you would want. For example. You can’t set a filter on the people you want to search for ( probably due to the very low numbers using the app). It just makes friend ‘suggestions’ which has zero intelligence. It even recommended I should be friends with myself!! Utter garbage. Avoid! ### 1/5 — You probably shouldn’t download this app if you’re under 21 *2024-06-28, version 9.0.0* I am a 14 year old girl who is diagnosed with ADHD and ASD. My mom downloaded this app for me so that I can find some friends my own age. It has been tough for me to find some real friends, especially with my neurodivergence. After downloading, I found that there are no other people my age on this app. Every person I come across is mid 30s to 60s. I haven’t even found one person under 18 yet! So if you should be a minor reading this, or a parent looking to download this app for their child, please reconsider. ### 1/5 — no friends *2024-04-08, version 9.0.0* This app is unusable because they suggested 0 friends for me. Pop-Up comes up with ‘2-weeks’ free and then options for annual or monthly subscriptions. Chose monthly (as obviously don’t even know if this app will have people in my vicinity) but app tried to take payment straight away. So def not ‘2 weeks free’ - don’t advertise a free feature if it’s not actually available. Would have been happy to pay IF this app was suitable, but can’t get into app to explore further. I think the idea of an app that protains to people with disabilities is a great way to find friends in your city / country however the app needs a tweek. I type in my info. My cousin was able to connect with people who truly understand, support, and share similar interests. It’s not just about chatting, it’s about building real and lasting relationships. I’ve seen such a positive difference in my cousin’s confidence and happiness since joining. There’s finally a sense of belonging and a circle of authentic friends to count on. Since signing up for this app, he has broken his anxiety wall of talking to other people.
