## What is Mala Jaap Counter?

Mala Jaap Counter is a calm, distraction-free way to count your daily jaap.

COUNT WITHOUT LOOKING
A large, high-contrast counter with gentle haptics lets you keep your eyes closed and your attention on the mantra. Count single jaaps or complete malas of 108, with gentle button feedback and a celebration when you save. Counts appear immediately, with a clear cloud backup status when signed in.

DAILY GOALS AND PROGRESS
Set a daily mala goal and an effective start date. The progress calendar shows what you completed each day, your running balance against the goal, and your streak over time. Swipe between months to explore your progress. Tap a past day from Count to add, edit, or remove entries in a clearly marked editor.

PRACTISE TOGETHER
Anusthaans are shared commitments with a daily target and a date-bound leaderboard, for when a group resolves to complete a sankalp together. Communities are open groups with all-time standings. Join either with a simple invite code from the + menu. Creators can edit group names and Anusthaan dates.

DEVOTIONAL AUDIO
Play devotional audio while you count, with background playback so it continues as you lock the screen. On iPhone, a long continuous session is prepared locally from the small recording.

GENTLE REMINDERS
Optional daily reminders help you keep the practice, and Anusthaan alerts let you know how your group is doing. Turn them off any time.

WORKS WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT
Start counting immediately as a guest, fully offline, with everything stored on your device. Sign in only when you want cloud backup across devices or want to join a group, and your existing device counts come with you. Delete your account and synced data from the app whenever you like.

No ads. No cross-app tracking. Your prayer entries are never shown to anyone else, and leaderboards display only a display name and a total.
