### 1/5 — Need Better Transparency for Gold Scheme Payments

The app works well overall, but it misses an important feature for customers enrolled in the gold savings scheme. Every payment made towards the scheme should display the gold rate per gram applicable on the transaction date along with the corresponding quantity of gold accumulated. This would improve transparency, help customers keep track of their purchases, and eliminate the need to calculate it and keep a record for each transaction for this information. Adding this feature would make the app far more informative

Ever since you updated your website and app, I haven’t been able to log into my own account. What’s the point of asking for OTPs multiple times if I still can’t log in, even with my password. I’ve tried logging in more than 50 times, but nothing works. I need to place an order, but unfortunately, the experience with your website and app has been extremely frustrating. The old Malabar website may have looked outdated, but at least it worked properly. Please help me log into my account as soon as possible.

I am very disappointed with the Malabar Gold app and customer support service.

I have an active gold purchase scheme with Malabar Gold, and I make my monthly payments through the mobile app. However, for the last two months, my gold purchase scheme has not been visible in the app, even though the scheme is still active and my payments are being made.

I have two accounts registered in the app—one with my UAE mobile number and another with my Indian mobile number. Both accounts are linked to the same email address. Recently, I have been unable to access my UAE account, and this appears to be related to the issue.

I contacted customer care several times, but unfortunately, I did not receive any proper assistance. Different representatives provided different information, and no one seemed to understand the issue or offer a solution. Instead of resolving the problem, they kept redirecting me without giving a clear answer.

As a customer who has trusted Malabar Gold with a long-term savings scheme, I expected much better support and a reliable mobile application. It is very frustrating when customers cannot view their active schemes or access their accounts properly.

Based on my experience, I would advise anyone considering opening a gold purchase scheme with Malabar Gold to think carefully. Unless you are able to visit the store every month and make payments directly, which requires spending additional time, fuel, and effort, you may face difficulties if the app or online services stop working properly. A savings scheme should provide convenience, not create unnecessary stress.

I hope Malabar Gold takes this issue seriously, restores access to my account, and improves both the app and customer support service for all customers.

The previous Malabar Gold & Diamonds app version was much better compared to the new application. I have been using the new app for the past three months, and the response time is very slow.
Also, after making my monthly payment, the status has been showing as “Processing” since yesterday night and it is still not updated.
Kindly fix these issues and consider allowing customers to use the previous version until the new app is fully stable. The current version is very difficult to use and needs improvement.

I have placed the order on 29th May through the application, despite being their frequent customer opting their application was the worst decision ! 

Neither I have received any update on my order nor the order placed - the app still shows 7th June as ETA . 

Their customer care is of no use they will only tell you that they are working on it but will never disclose the actual reason of delay .

One of the worst apps I’ve used. Whenever the gold price falls, the app does not allow me to make payments towards my gold scheme. When I contact customer support, they simply say that there is high traffic on the app.

What is frustrating is that the payment option only seems to become available again once the gold price increases. This has happened multiple times, making it appear as though the app is intentionally restricting payments when prices are lower.

Whether this is a technical issue or by design, it creates a poor customer experience and raises concerns about fairness and transparency. Based on my experience, I would not recommend opening a gold scheme with them.

I have reached out multiple times but haven’t received any proper solution. One supporting agent said they will get back to me another said uninstall and reinstall the app. Unfortunately the service is very disappointing. Am now considering to switch to any other gold scheme provider. Thank You

I am not able to see my monthly plan in the app. Tried contacting customer care a the store from where I purchased the plan, everytime same answer that app is being updated. Hearing the same thing from over 3 weeks now but still no resolution. I don’t want to visit the store to make the payment of my plan, not going to buy another plan because of the poor service.
