### 5/5 — Best By A Long Shot.

I’m 72 years old and have been a golf fanatic since my teenage years. I have read every golf instruction book and videotape on the market. By far, the M-System is the best. If only…

### 5/5 — Fantastic Website

Best teacher out there

### 5/5 — Best golf instruction ever

*2023-01-29, version 8.010.1*

I’m 69 years old, 15 index, and have played golf for about 30 years. Over the years I’ve had lessons both in person and online. This is the 1st time lessons have really made sense. I played a lot of tennis when I was younger. I appreciate how Mike makes the connections between golf and tennis and other sports. I am really beginning to understand that the golf swing is a motion and not a bunch of positions. This concept alone has taken a lot of tension out of my swing. I recently had partial knee replacement surgery an am looking forward to playing golf again in a couple of months. And putting what I have been learning into practice and play. I’ll report back to let you know how implementing Mike’s instruction is helping my game. Thanks for everything Mike! Ed D Michigan

### 5/5 — Foundational knowledge

*2023-01-27, version 8.010.1*

Great videos that progress you through the swing using proper biomechanics. Wish I had this straying out playing golf

### 5/5 — Malaska Golf

*2023-01-22, version 8.010.1*

Malaska Golf’s M-System library of videos is sequenced to learn the swing system from start to finish in an effective and efficient manner, to learn the proper mechanics of the golf swing! I would highly recommend the M-System to anybody interested in truly improving their golf swing to lower scores! Jeff Torello

### 5/5 — Fantastic site

*2023-01-20, version 8.010.1*

No nonsense approach for teaching. I especially like the M series for well outline progression of swing development.

### 5/5 — Ken M

*2022-11-11, version 7.620.1*

I have had a long time thing about watching online golf video instructions. I occasionally picked up a tip that would help my game, only to quickly loose it. Old habits are tuff to overcome especially when you mentally try to override them on the course.
My opinion is that Mikes instructions take golf instruction to a simplified, but very instructional level that most everyone can comprehend and instill with a little dedication. I love all that he does, and my game has improved with his help!
However, I would like to see his overall presentations organized such that one can easily search for help on a specific subject ie. how do I prevent early extension.

### 5/5 — Great instruction

*2022-10-17, version 7.620.1*

Malaska is very good at explaining that golf is very similar to other sports in how the body works. I’m swinging more relaxed and understand what I need to feel for my game to get better, and Malaska’s instruction has helped with that. My effortless natural is making the ball go 20% further and has improved my game drastically. Definite thumbs up on this app. Also can download the videos I want to watch, while I’m on the airplane for trips, which I like a lot.

### 5/5 — The M System works!

*2022-10-01, version 7.620.1*

I started to view Mike’s video on YouTube. I liked the way he explains the what’s & why’s in his videos. So I decided to go to his website a give it a try. In his website there’s more that I was missing and the more I watched a video, I’d pick up a little more. There’s tons of explanations in so many videos. Sometimes I go back to the basic M1 videos just to see if I’m forgetting to do the basic. I’m a senior golfer who played golf for more than 35 yrs. and never broke 80. My average score was mid 90s. And yes, it’s hard to break bad habits and what I thought the golf swing was. After watching his videos and doing the drills(about 6 months), I’m now in the mid 80s. My goal is to break 80 and I feel like I’m getting close. I’ve also increase my distance by 25 yds. I didn’t measure my club head speed but my driver was 83-85 mph before using the M System.
I did skip steps and thought it was fine but now I’m regretting it as I’m back to my old habits.
My opinion, if you don’t understand what you’re doing, it’s very hard to make a correction. Mike’s explanations, tips, and drills makes my game easier to fix while I’m playing. And with the App, I can watch a video on my device at the range. Also, take your time and follow some step and don’t go to the next step till you’ve mastered the frat steps.

### 5/5 — 2 Hcp to +2

*2022-09-16, version 7.620.1*

Everything Mike says just makes sense. I never feel like I have to manipulate a part of my swing or out of balance. I feel like an athlete.

### 5/5 — Best Golf Site

*2022-08-21, version 7.620.1*

Really appreciate the way the instruction is broken down to component parts and the detail in each video.

### 5/5 — Best Teacher, best content!

*2022-08-21, version 7.620.1*

Love the content! Best teacher in the game! So easy to understand and take it to the course. Thank you for all the help!

This is a great resource for golfers of any level. I’m just getting started it’s been awesome to have lessons broken down into step by step. 100% recommend.

### 5/5 — Best online format for golf instruction

Hands down this is the best golf instruction format. I’ve tried others but this is the best at the explanation of the golf swing and game. Worth every dollar.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Auto-renews at 4x the price

*2025-06-21, version 9.11.0*

No issue with the content but auto-renewed at 4x the price and wouldn’t let me cancel.

### 1/5 — Can’t access content despite having an account

*2023-11-21, version 9.4.1*

I’m unable to access content through this app despite being able to do so via the Malaska website.

No method to report this problem as the link to the developer website returns a 404 code.

### 2/5 — App review

*2023-09-06, version 9.2.0*

I love my Malaska, but I am not loving this app. It is a lot more difficult to navigate than the last app. New stuff should be easier to find. Aka a “ latest” tab.

Also it is driving me absolutely crazy that it does not work in portrait mode on my tablet.
The content is good though…..

### 2/5 — Give no contact info

*2022-07-08, version 7.502.2*

I can’t find a way to contact Mike or any of his instructors. How can I do that?

### 3/5 — New website, new video camera technique

*2021-09-25*

Overall the website has a nicer feel; layout of M-system, Skill pathways, etc is easy to understand.

One critique, on the newer videos a back and forth “panning” is now being used. This camera technique may be more engaging for non-instructional video content, but is Not successful for golf instruction.

“Cutting” from down the line views, and back to face-on is a better, clearer way for students to see angles, club face positions, etc.
The constant back and forth of the “panning”, makes it less easy to see critical differences Mike often points out. I hope you consider this for future instructions.

Overall the instructional content on Malaska golf, thanks!!
Keep up the good work - Bob Z

### 4/5 — Malaska Golf

*2022-06-05, version 7.502.2*

Mike’s methods are logical and based on years of experience sorting through the BS. I find his teaching to the point and he reinforces the concepts well. If only I could find a teacher here in Australia that is similar

### 5/5 — Tremendous Resource

*2023-04-25, version 8.101.1*

Malaska golf has been a tremendous resource for me in learning and understanding my golf game

### 5/5 — Speechless

*2023-04-19, version 8.101.1*

Best training guru there is. An athletes perspective to understand the golf swing from the club face up.

### 5/5 — Foundational knowledge

*2023-04-13, version 8.101.1*

Great videos that progress you through the swing using proper biomechanics. Wish I had this straying out playing golf

### 5/5 — Chris Grundy

*2023-03-25, version 8.101.1*

Such a fantastic coach who provides all his members with the very best knowledge in the game of golf. Such a library of information, drills, coaching sessions and humour. I have been with Mike for well over 2-years. Remained patient with my constant learning process, had my ups and downs and now reaping the rewards for my patience and with knowledge that i always have the very best reference points and coach to encourage and guide me. Now age 61, hitting the ball with confidence, speed and strong smash factor. I have a handicap index of 2.6 and when i started it was 5.6. On the 17th September 2022 i shot 69, 1-under par and my first round under par for 16-years. Mike is a real inspiration Chris Grundy

### 5/5 — Malaska Golf

*2023-03-22, version 8.101.1*

Mike is the first instructor that explains what you need to feel to get the club, hands and body in the right position.
I’ve taken lessons before and they all tell you to shallow the club. I got pretty good at it but hit the ball all over the planet.
After watching Mike on YouTube, instantly I could understand what he was talking about.
After 4 years of trying to shallow the club and struggling, in a matter of two weeks of Malaska Golf I’m playing the best I’ve ever played.

Thank you Mike

Jay

### 5/5 — Chuck6533

*2023-03-19, version 8.101.1*

I have been on the site since the start. Cant thank you enough for the explanations that make the golf swing real to me. I have taken lessons from so many people since 1955 but never totally understood it. I don’t play much now (I’m 89) but still enjoy learning the M system. I can’t thank you enough for the contribution to my golf. I will certainly be working with my short soft swing until I can no longer from physical limits. Wish you had been around earlier. Thanks again Mike-and best wishes.

### 5/5 — Details make a difference in your golf swing

*2023-03-14, version 8.101.1*

Coach Malaska has :

Has taken his swing experience from his initial golf swing as an young man to when he began listening to expert teachers, and now to his present day swing. He has studied the body and it’s relationship to his golf swing. From this he cuts through his lifetime learning curve of golf and gives you what works.

Gone into great detail about the golf grip. I never was comfortable with the palms opposing grip. When I asked about my grip, My local instructors would take a quick look and say it’s fine. Coach Malaska opened my eyes to a way better grip. The light bulb came on.

Coach Malaska coaches that the “weight shift” isn’t a proper description of what is going on. He then gets down to the deets for you. Light bulb came on.

His videos of his instruction with fairly raw golfers and getting them on the right path quickly is something I wish I had an opportunity to do 8 years ago. Spoiler alert, the students are all making similar mistakes.

Don’t spend years trying to figure it out by yourself!

He is the best I have found.

So much good content available.
