The code provided by the gift card upon purchase is 10 digits, but the app requires 16 digits. ### 1/5 — THIS APP SCAMS YOUR MONEY BEWARE *2025-12-26* Before i go into my app issue. P.S. Their employees pre-charged for tips and stay very quiet so that you can tip them extra. Always ask for receipt if you ever go there next time and prove me wrong. Thank me for saving you bucks. This happened way before the whole update thing that they been doing to kind of take money from user. I have downloaded the app because obviously theres a deal if you top up 200$ you get 220$. I topped up 200$ used it once and my total came to 150+$. For some reason after that, the app causes glitches and won’t let you use the app and kept kicking me out after staying in there a few minutes. So i just brushed it off, thinking the app may be under maintenance. After a month, i came back to open the app, mind you this was before this whole new update thing. I can still access my account and still see my history whatsoever but the rest of my money was gone!!! Completely!! I emailed and try contacting the app support but NO ONE replies. Until today I tried to go in thinking i would still be able to ask even if its gone. But NOO, the new update removes all MY PAST HISTORY on all top-up and transactions on whatever you made purchase through…leaving just the point history. They think doing this will easily be getting away with!!!! Wow unbelievable, my thoughts on the app was kinda sketchy and its true…either help me get the rest of my money back or im contacting my bank for all 220$, your call!! Would recommend l. ### 1/5 — Update ruined Malatown for me *2025-12-13* Same as was previously mentioned from other reviews: the new format gives no incentive to dine at Malatown, also why is it phone number sign in only? I can’t sign in with my other email because it’s only phone number sign in. All of my points and progression from my account has disappeared and I haven’t received word of why this happened. Needless to say, this has negatively affected my view of Malatown. The old system had fun levels involved and really rewarded repeat visits, but this one gives no incentives. Also what happened to the points I had accrued from before? This version makes you sign in with a phone number, so are my old points with the account just gone? What about my gift card balance? I can’t imagine they won’t be sued, to be honest. I went to their location and tried to order and but they said they don’t see a $35 coupon on my account even though I was a new user!
