I bought this for a diving trip to the Maldives. The map data is quite good and matches that which the dive boat used. However, there are no labels on the maps at all, so you rely on overlays (eg google) and therefore need expensive data downloads (though you could buy an inexpensive local sum for your phone if you are keen in this). The app is very slow to get a gps lock and you need to manually close the program to switch off gps (or your battery will be used up quickly). I did not find the included guide book useful. I did find this a useful app for identifying and recording the exact locations of dive sites and viewing these on the chart. You can also export all the favourites to a Google earth kmz file for other use later. As I could find no other mapping app for the area, and this app was inexpensive when bought, I thought it worth a punt.
