This being said we were in Palma where it was very busy and we stayed in this area for the most part but I would definitely use again! Cheaper than taxiclick! ### 2/5 — Buggy app *2026-08-15, version 2.0.5* We booked a cab that was supposed to arrive within two minutes. The driver then cancelled the trip and the app kept saying “trip completed”. It would not let me book another trip. I clicked “repeat”; I cancelled the trip; I tried to pre-book a trip. Nothing was possible. I had to delete the app and re-install it with another email address for it to work again. ### 2/5 — Sat in a Q for too long *2026-08-14, version 2.0.5* Several times we tried using this app and gave up! Sat at number 1 in the Q for over 15 minutes. Then got a call to say taxi wasn’t actually near us and cancel trip ### 1/5 — So awful *2026-07-30, version 2.0.5* I ordered a taxi at 7:20 in advance for my reservation at 8. The taxi had a cue of 30. I waited in line as I had expected the cue. However I had been stuck in cue at number 3 for an hour. It was an absolute joke. I was astonished. I had to leave my disabled father and walk to the restaurant myself which I was over 30 minutes late. On my way I saw 10 mallorcabs driving around with no passengers. I was outraged. Awful service. Didn’t have any time management. My advice is not to order a taxi if you actually want to go somewhere. ### 1/5 — Be Aware of ‘supplement’ fees. *2026-07-28, version 2.0.5* Make yourself familiar with the tariffs. Several times we were met with ‘supplemental charges’. One for going to the airport, that we didn’t go to. And one for the mountain range, that we didn’t go to on a 2km trip down the road. Both times we were met with aggression from the drivers when they were made aware that we know this is illegal. Mallorcab even gives you an estimate of the cost so when it’s suddenly 5 euro more… One said it was $3 charge for a child seat, that we didn’t ask for and is not legal to charge for. The other said we were charged for a 7 seater, despite being 2 adults and 2 children. The driver became very aggressive and threatening. The app is convenient though it can often take a very long time. You can be next in the queue and then jump back in the line. On a few occasions, we were next in line, a car assigned and then cancelled and back to 15th in the queue. Drivers have been reported but the app needs to safeguard against this fraud. ### 2/5 — BEWARE of some taxi drivers. *2026-07-28, version 2.0.5* Used this app for the last few years and whilst there could be some improvements, the app overall is easy to use. Sometimes you could be a certain number in the queue (for example 11) and then when you get to number 1 in the queue, the booking just disappears off the screen and then you have to start the whole process again. This happened to us last night after waiting 40 minutes to get from position 14 to 1 in the queue. It’s incredibly frustrating. BEWARE OF SOME TAXI DRIVERS - whilst most of them are professional and friendly there are a handful who try and take advantage of non Spanish residents and charge a higher supplementary fee than they should. In every taxi there is a sticker on the window which states what you are charged a supplementary amount for - phone booking €1.15, 5-6 passengers €3 etc. TWICE today we have encountered two separate taxi drivers who tried to charge us a higher supplementary fee and when questioned, both times they became extremely aggressive, shouting at us etc. One even refused to take payment off me in the end and stated “no more taxis for you”. ### 1/5 — Utterly useless! *2026-07-24, version 2.0.5* Booked a cab, waited 40mins to be assigned a cab which was cancelled not by me! No possibility to call someone to rectify. Was late to my appointment. Can NOT recommend this app at all ### 1/5 — Awful, unreliable *2026-07-19, version 2.0.5* Worst app ever. You will be 10 in the queue with the person next to you number 15 and they will get a taxi in 5 min and you will wait 30-60min going to the same place. Another time, We sat and waited 45 minutes, then were number 1 in the queue for 10 minutes before the app reset and put us at 29 in the queue ### 1/5 — Waste of life *2026-07-17, version 2.0.5* 3 times we have now waited more than 40 minutes in the queue to then be kicked of the queue when were in position 1, absolute waste of time, get the bus folks this taxi company are an absolute joke ### 1/5 — Doesn’t allow you to book *2026-07-17, version 2.0.5* Have to be in the ‘right’ location. We waited over 45 minutes to finally go 1 in the queue only to have the app set us back to 13 again! Waiting in the baking hart with a tired over heated 3 year old! Not impressed ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-07-05, version 2.0.2* Booked a cab and waited for an hour, only for it to be cancelled as we got to the first position. Not cool. Total amateur application, with nonexistent service. Do better. ### 1/5 — Lost my flight *2026-06-29* I reserved a 7:50 taxi to the airport and it was successfully reserved but it never arrived! Contacted their customer service never replied even though I told them it was urgent. Had to wait 30min for another taxi and lost my flight. Please avoid using this app is a waste of time and gives unnecessary headaches ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Waste of time *2026-08-14, version 2.0.5* Left stranded in Puerto Pollensa after being 1st in the queue for 45mins before giving up. Multiple taxis dropping off passengers and becoming available right next to me. Drivers are clearly picking and choosing their fares. We ended up getting bus and will not be using this service again. Awful. ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-08-13, version 2.0.5* After requesting a cab on the app, waiting 20 minutes, and chatting with our driver via the app he picked up another passenger. We showed him our confirmation with his license plate number and he said “It doesn’t matter-these other people have been waiting 30 mins.” What’s the point of this app if the driver doesn’t use it? Oh then he closed out the trip in the app indicating that we were “no shows.” Nice. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-08-13, version 2.0.5* Tried to order a taxi last night, waited it a queue for nearly an hour, made it to number one, then back up to 2 and then it reset. Had to get the bus in the end ### 1/5 — Do not rely on it *2026-08-11, version 2.0.5* Made us wait an hour and a half and said we were number 1 in queue the whole time. Made us miss our transport after saying we couldn’t pre book. Do not rely on it at all! ### 1/5 — Missed my plane *2026-08-11, version 2.0.5* Don’t worry, they said. This is the taxi app of the island, they said. Don’t use uber they said… Well, I just missed my plane because of this app. Ordered a taxi for 4am 2 days in advance. The app confirmed the trip. The taxi didn’t show up. No phone to call, no one to ask for help… At 5:30 I managed to get into a bus. Arrived at the airport and missed my plane! 3h later, the driver calls me. “It’s your taxi” he said. Horrible customer experience! ### 1/5 — Terrible app but no alternatives *2026-08-09, version 2.0.5* Be prepared for very long waits - 30 minutes minimum. You get no idea how long you will actually wait, just you are in a queue that counts down (and occasionally counts up as well!) it can take ages to move a single place in the queue - 15 minutes is our personal record to move 1 space which seems strange when there are so many Mallorcabs on the streets. Just painful but doesn’t seem to be any alternatives. Just give yourself plenty of time if you need to be somewhere - plan for a 1 hour wait minimum. ### 1/5 — Do not rely on this app!!! *2026-08-05, version 2.0.5* After two weeks in North Mallorca and used the app on multiple occasions I was let down time after time, the app works well and says you are in a queue, the taxis can see you are trying to book the journey ie Pollensa to Alcudia and yet your taxi never arrives. Spent 1.5hr trying both direct via the app and then via the hotel desk (as they get priority and can and do bump you down the queue!). You cannot also hail a taxi if they have Mallorcab sign written on them even if the light is illuminated!!! So frustrating. Im afraid I prefer the island before this app. Taxis were readily available and at least usable. If it wasn’t for the excellent bus service on the island, I would have been stranded twice! Avoid - use the bus or hire a car. ### 1/5 — Waiting times *2026-08-05, version 2.0.5* Disappointed to be stuck waiting 2 hours and missing a dinner reservation! Unreliable ### 1/5 — Unreliable and times out *2026-08-04, version 2.0.5* I still can’t believe that Majorca doesn’t have a reliable Taxi system given how much tourism there is in the country. This is the only app that apparently works in the country however the problem is it doesn’t actually work. The whole Taxi system is rubbish to the point they actually can be a holiday ruiner. ### 1/5 — Rubbish app *2026-08-02, version 2.0.5* Informed that we were 15th in queue, got down to 2nd in queue and then nothingness. My wife then downloaded the app and the exact same thing happened to her.
