### 4/5 — Good👍

*2026-06-04, version 9.60.0*

It was easy to use the app. The space was good enough with simple setup.

### 2/5 — Try downloading an app when your three month old is screaming in a crowded airport

*2026-05-31, version 9.60.0*

I’m sure there’s a reason for needing an app to open the door, but it’s incredibly inconvenient for mothers. Honestly, it would be more convenient for me to sit at the gate and whip my boob out, but I thought I would give this a try. I’m not entirely sure why the entire thing is made out of plastic - if that was a design choice or they’re trying to cut cost, but it’s incredibly uncomfortable. I think we should be advocating for public spaces to have rooms dedicated to breast-feeding moms rather than drop these eye sores wherever they fit. I don’t mean to sound ungrateful, but it is more comfortable feeding a baby in a car than it is feeding a baby in a Mamava. I’ll give it two stars for privacy.

### 5/5 — AWESOME

*2025-05-31, version 9.24.0*

pumping in Public can be so inconvenient and so uncomfortable but you guys have made it easy!!!!!! I’m so thankful for this company and for you all making my travel experience so much better!

### 5/5 — Life saver 🙏🏼 thank you

*2025-05-30, version 9.24.0*

I am a breastfeeding first-time mom and have lots of anxiety about travelling with or without our daughter. These pods make travelling so much more relaxing knowing I have a safe private space when needed. What did moms do before these?!?!

### 5/5 — Great!!

*2025-05-29, version 9.24.0*

Convenient, clean, free, and a great service I’d like to see spread everywhere

### 5/5 — Brilliant

*2025-05-03, version 9.22.0*

Flying was almost the easiest part of our trip and these pods absolutely helped. So grateful!

### 5/5 — So thankful for Mamava

*2025-04-23, version 9.21.0*

My baby and I were flying solo through ATL and it was so nice to have a private, relaxing space to feed baby! I saw the pod, downloaded the app, and was already inside the pod within a minute of arriving to it! The pod was clean and spacious! Thank you Mamava for taking some of the stress out of our travel day!

### 5/5 — Grateful

*2025-03-21, version 9.19.0*

I today in Harts-field’s B25, had mamas of all races surrounding me to help download this app. I entered the pod in bliss. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Mama Sanctuary

*2025-01-26, version 9.15.0*

Our flight at SBA was unexpectedly delayed 2 hours and I not only needed to pump but also wanted to make sure we had enough milk for our flight. This lactation pod was absolutely perfect. Comfortable, clean, private and convenient. I hope to find more of these pods in the future and other airports.

### 5/5 — Thank you!!!!!

*2024-11-17, version 9.11.0*

Thank you for providing this!!! First time mama traveling with my 5 month old and we had a layover at SFO. I was so stressed about how and where to pump before my next 6 hour flight, and the mamava lactation pod was a lifesaver. My baby and I are so so grateful!!!!! Thank you!!

### 5/5 — App is to use, pods so practical

*2024-11-10, version 9.10.0*

I am so grateful that Mamava pods exist for traveling mamas with or without their babies. I’m pumping in one as LAS, easily found the one right after security using the map in the app, and simple to get the code to get access. It’s clean, has power, bare bones but comfortable and have everything I need and ample space. I’ve also used one with my LO to breastfeed, and same great experience. Thank you!!

### 5/5 — Good app

*2024-10-25, version 9.9.0*

The app is good, and the lactation space is very cute, but I wish I didn’t have to download a app to unlock the lactation pod.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Have some common sense

*2025-11-06, version 9.45.0*

You want me to download an app over airport wifi to unlock a lactation space while my baby bawls her eyes out? THIS DOES NOT NEED AN APP

### 1/5 — App has bad info

*2025-08-29, version 9.30.0*

I downloaded this app before traveling with my two month old, and it looked like it was going to be a lifesaver…until the pods that were allegedly located near my gate turned out not to exist. I almost had to get on an 11 hour flight without pumping, which would’ve been pretty disastrous for my health and ability to feed baby, but I found an airport lactation room at the last second. Will not be relying on this app again.

### 1/5 — Took over five minutes to get in.

*2025-07-19, version 9.27.0*

Anyone who actually has a baby knows that taking time to download a humongous app and then logging into the app and then unlocking the door is ridiculousness. Your baby is screaming report it’s even finished and eighth of the download. And then once getting in the shelves, don’t have a changing area. The supposed changing area is a hard countertop with no buckle.

### 1/5 — The McDonalds of nursing rooms

*2025-06-09, version 9.25.0*

It’s ridiculous to need an app to open a mother’s room. It’s also the most uncomfortable place I’ve nursed, and I’ve nursed on a floor

### 1/5 — The worst app

*2025-05-18, version 9.23.1*

I needed to use a room at ATL and couldn’t get the code to verify my account, which almost caused me to miss my flight. Also, the airport should have a phone number signage placed by the pod door to help moms in need. Other airports have signage to call a number for a code. Disappointed with the app and the ATL airport.

### 1/5 — Atlanta Airport

*2025-05-14, version 9.23.0*

I used the mamava near gate A09 at the Atlanta airport to nurses my baby and try to get him asleep. I was horribly disappointed by the pod. It was a hard bench with no arm rests. I felt like I was sitting on a bench that was designed to deter homeless people not nurse my baby. It also had a grate on the top with a large fluorescent light above it so I couldn’t even dim down the light and you could hear all the noise of the incredibly busy airport outside. This was just a box to hide my boobs not a comfy quiet place to nurse in a busy airport.

### 1/5 — Not pump friendly

*2025-04-03, version 9.20.0*

No sinks to clean your pump parts.

### 1/5 — Useless app

*2024-11-18, version 9.11.0*

Not working. It says occupied, but literally nobody in there and the door says ‘vacant’ .
Such an effort just wanted to use nursing box.
America should put japan airport as a role model. Nursing box everywhere and all of them super comfortable and no need to download stupid app.

### 1/5 — Don’t like downloading an app just to feed my baby

*2024-10-07, version 9.8.0*

I had a great experience w one of these pods at the Burbank airport but not at JFK. The difference between the two was JFK airport made me download the app and Burbank had the door code on the door. In a high stress situation where my baby is crying to be fed, the last thing I want to do is download an app, create a profile, then try to find the exact pod I’m in front of on the app, and then have the app unlock it for me. I had trouble every step of the way. First, my password wasn’t enough characters. Then I couldn’t find the pod in the app that I was literally standing in front of. Then it wouldn’t unlock the door for me!! Tried 5x and finally, when it gave me the code, I was able to unlock it and get inside. What made me feel weird was knowing that bc I’ve downloaded an app, now there’s data being collected about me using the pod. I just want to feed my baby. It would’ve been a much better experience if the code was just written on the door like it is at Burbank airport.

### 1/5 — Designed by a man

*2024-05-18, version 8.17.0*

Well, it was nice to have a private place to breast-feed. However, there was no elbow support and there was no AC… it kind of felt like breeding in a portaJohn. I I almost would have rather breastfed in public. Next time, try not to be so cheap and think about the woman’s comfort. I’m surprised there are even cushions on the chair.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best App

*2026-06-13, version 9.62.0*

Most useful app for pumping and nursing moms! Thank you founders for making working and traveling moms’ life possible!

### 5/5 — Very helpful

*2026-05-21, version 9.59.0*

I used the pod and it was a life saver. I was about to get engorged for I needed to pump after a very long time and before getting into an airplane for long hours …the pod was great. It just needed a little bit more of airflow.

### 5/5 — Thankful

*2026-05-16, version 9.59.0*

Thank you for existing! So nice to have a space with privacy for my baby and I

### 5/5 — Clean & convenient

*2026-04-23, version 9.57.0*

Love that the app shows pods as well as mother’s rooms. I have flown through 3 airports and always consult the Mamava app to see my options near my gate!

### 5/5 — Mama pod

*2026-04-03, version 9.56.0*

Love this. We need more of these out in public along with an area just for babies to change.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-03-25, version 9.55.0*

I first used this at a stadium at an NBA games (Phx Suns) and wow. So amazing. Comfortable. Convenient and private. I was able to nurse comfortably and my baby was super relaxed in there. Thank you for making a space for nursing mothers. Seriously one of the best ideas ever.

### 5/5 — Amazing for non-travelers too!

*2025-10-10, version 9.33.2*

Most reviews seem to highlight the pods found at airports, but I have had great use of this app for being out in public! So easy to find lactation spaces in the community and I appreciate how clean and simple the app is to use, even if it's not a Mamava pod. Thank you Mamava!!

### 5/5 — Wow!

*2025-08-07, version 9.29.0*

I was traveling solo with my three kids, including my 3mo. Things were going well until all the sudden they weren’t, but just as my 2yo was descending into total meltdown and the baby needed to be fed, I saw a pod! We were saved! Elder two kids played while I nursed and changed the baby and I didn’t have to worry about anyone running away. We turned the lights down to have a little quiet time and left completely recharged. Thank you for this awesome service!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2025-07-29, version 9.28.1*

I was a bit worried about using the pod the first time. But it was easy and nice to be in a private space while pumping and feeding my baby. Didn’t have to worry about people watching me or judging as you are in your own space. This is a great product and really appreciated. A must for breastfeeding moms.

### 5/5 — Saved the day

*2025-06-03, version 9.24.0*

Just discovered this and needed to share! My baby HATES being covered so having a safe place with dimmed lights and white noise is a life saver
