If I can be bothered that is, & not just go elsewhere. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work *2023-12-23* This is normally a good app and I decided a while back to pay for a monthly subscription. Worked fine until recently when it now constantly crashes, doesn’t let you flip between the option tabs at the bottom and generally is unusable. Or is this the planned deliberately? ### 2/5 — Why limit articles? *2023-10-30, version 9.1.1* I’m limited to 10 articles a week. But if I google the same article, I can see it free on the website. So limiting on the app seems pointless & is just an annoyance. ### 2/5 — Not great *2023-07-05* Being a United fan I can’t get enough news, opinion and speculation about the club. So when this app stopped being freely accessible I was disappointed that I wouldn’t use it again. Then after a week I thought £2.99 isn’t much to try it for a month thinking there must be lots of improvements that make it worth the money. Disappointingly apart from a fresh app look lots of the issues that were there before still remain. Firstly, it doesn’t cover as many stories as are freely available on the MEN Man Utd webpage and the website has all the stories covered by this app. Second, the links from the daily blog stories still don’t open, or open as blanked out pages with no text, so I still don’t have access to the full stories. Thirdly, I’m not sure where the great new features and exclusive features are? I’m all for supporting the journalism but I can put up with scrolling past adverts such as found on Facebook or the website to do this. I guess there is time for the app to improve but it would be a shame if there are no plans to match the article output of the website or sort out the broken links now that this app is no longer free. Anyway let hope to a successful season coming up and new owners ASAP. ### 1/5 — Subscription lol *2023-06-21, version 9.0.0* Over 3 times the price of the athletic for low quality, stating the obvious click bait with more ads than the classifieds. No tar ### 1/5 — Comment blocking *2023-04-02* I have taken the time to write a thought out non-offensive comment to post on the MEN Manchester United board on 2/3 occassions now where the MEN has blocked my post. The post reads ‘Content Disabled’. The views I have posted have been my personal opinion as to a story being ran. The posts get blocked without reason and there is no apparent avenue, certainly via the app, to ask what it is that has caused by post to be blocked. No freedom of speech here then. That said there is no reason for me to read their dialogue if they don’t allow opinion on the message board. I’m closing my MEN account and deleting the app. I guess that’s me giving MEN the ‘content disabled’ response they deserve. Poor journalism MEN ### 1/5 — App crashed after latest update *2022-12-27, version 8.2.3* The App keeps crashing after the latest update a wek ago. ### 2/5 — Live match feed is PATHETIC *2021-11-20* Although your app is good with content, the live match feed simply doesn’t load at all. When switched between apps the screen is all white, every time need to go back -> click on live match feed -> wait for 2 mins for refresh I really hope you guys improve on this !! ### 1/5 — App tracking mandatory even though switched off in general settings *2021-11-06* Shame that you now have to agree to your private data use before using the app. Why does apple allow this to be presented when I have app tracking turned off. We all know the process supplied is overly complex to confuse the consumer. Unfortunately this app does exactly the same. This has only occurred since the last update so maybe a technical issue?? Very annoying when you’re halfway through reading something!! ### 2/5 — Had to delete it *2020-11-02* I enjoyed this app for a while. If you want dedicated Man United news, it will feed you, and there’s some decent analysis on offer. In the end, though, it’s just too much click bait. They will create an article out of anything. Roy Keane says something entirely predictable on the telly and they will spin an entire story out of it. The stories are mostly filler, though, so you just skip to the fourth paragraph and literally everything they have to say is right there. The ads in this app are diabolical. It’s all about harvesting your data and feeding you the most pointless stories that require you to click through literally 15 or more pages - all full of more ads - just to learn that a pregnant dog once gave birth to 12 puppies. You get sucked into looking at these ads because you feel so empty and unsatisfied by the “news” story you just read about some theoretical tactical switch that some nobody believes Ole Gunnar Solskjær ought to make. I don’t know how we’ve come to this, but I don’t want any part of it. **Developer response:** Hi, we'd like to apologise for the inconvenience caused.
