I cancelled my subscription trial and I’m this close to deleting the app altogether and looking for something else that offers similar purpose. The interface is cute, but I’m not interested in gamifying product recalls. I want to be able to use it for its stated purpose without being bombarded by useless notifications all day!! ### 1/5 — NOT FREE ‼️‼️ *2026-08-29, version 1.16.3* I found this app through threads where they are very active in informing about food safety and promoting their app. I was excited to find an app that actually cared about what we eat and a way to help us prevent eating things that are recalled or bad. While going through the process of signing up I was even more thrilled because I was able to put in my specific food limits and allergies and what warnings I wanted to know about food. It then had me put my email in and confirm it… but that’s when it hits you with the paywall. You can’t even enter the app unless you pay for the subscription. This company is as money hungry as the rest of the companies, don’t waste your time. And to the people who made this app, don’t claim you care about food safety if you don’t make it accessible for everyone. Majority of people with food insecurity’s and the ones that NEED an app like this are the very ones you’re excluding by making it a subscription. There is no free option. It doesn't tell you this until AFTER you put in your email, name, and other information about you. Everyone just wants money.
