My biggest wedding regret - not finding this app (and podcast to match) sooner. It is so easy to use and leaves no stone unturned. Yvette thinks outside the box for you so you don’t have to over stress thinking of something you have missed - you won’t! As there are lists and breakdowns for everything, plus you can add your own. I tried over 20 different apps. Now I just have this one and a supplier look up one, sooo much better. Doesn’t feel LGBTQ+ friendly at all for myself and my partner. The podcast content is super helpful to get your mind thinking about ways to do stuff and things I never would have thought of. I bought a few bits from the website including the pre event kit to help with planning my hens and the stress free countdown which made the last few months of prep and planning so much easier! But it would be absolutely perfect if there was an option to upload images into the notes section. It would be brilliant to tap on “dress” and have all my screenshots looking at me in the app instead of scattered throughout my phone. Won’t let me delete budget categories, we aren’t having bridesmaids and groomsmen so want to get rid of the category. The app looks lovely and I love the countdown but unfortunately I was unable to input prices for things and nothing would save for me. I kept trying for a while until the app just randomly logged me out and I’ve been trying unsuccessfully to log back in ever since. Back to the search! Edit: Have logged in finally and it’s working so may have just been a glitch! Everything you can think of and also didn’t think of is there…. I literally started from the very first podcast and made my way through, and I can tell you, it’s an absolutely essential resource for brides. Yvette pours her heart and soul into every episode and keeps it light, relevant and realistic. Big thanks to her!! She should write a book! Xx ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not worth the money *2023-04-18, version 3* I purchased this app to help plan my mums wedding, and it wouldn’t let me, my step dad or my mum log in at the same time even tho we did the collaborator part, it just kept logging us out. I also haven’t been able to login for a few days now and just find that it glitches so much. This app needs a lot of development for it to reach its full potential but for right now, save an extra tenner and buy the mywed app. It has everything you need, my favourite but is bei mg able to organise the guests by categories ie whose coming to the hen party and you can filter them by table number. The budgets and timeline of tasks is really helpful too ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2023-04-17, version 2.1* Everytime I go to add something in the app it freezes my phone and logs out. Busy with full time jobs her Manage My Wedding resources allowed you to go at your own pace, but also gave you insight into when you should be actioning tasks, what questions to ask vendors, tips of managing family, finances and all the small details. It literally covered all aspects so you can’t miss anything! She was an absolute wonder and helped me organise my entire wedding without the extra cost of a wedding planner or on the day coordinator. Yvette was also willing to answer any questions specific to our own situation. Once you're out of the love bubble, the realisation of I need to plan a wedding begin. I found Yvette's podcast first on Spotify which has given me so many helpful tips, but then I realised she had also created an app which has been a lifesaver. It helps with all the planning that you know of, but then the planning of things that you didn't even think of. I made sure one of my girlfriends downloaded it when she got engaged last month. It truly has been so reassuring to use this app and know I am on the right track to the big day. I love how simple it is to use, how to customise it to my own needs, and track everything accordingly at each stage. I had tried a few others but this is the easiest, and most enjoyable to use. There’s different options & it’s so easy to Lee track of expenses & balances. You get so much out of the free version too, which is not usually the case elsewhere. I love that you can categorise everything and break it down nicely. Tick things off when they get paid and it shows you the balance owing. It is so user friendly. We are not at this point in the planning process yet but I am looking forward to utilising the guests tab and easily managing the rsvps. Also a huge fan of the podcast, if you haven’t already do yourself a favour and subscribe to the Manage My Wedding Podcast! Yvette is a wealth of knowledgeable when it comes to wedding & event planning. I have gained to much insight and ideas.
