That is one main reason to use this app! ### 5/5 — Firewall Controll? *2020-02-22* Where is the firewall control? **Developer response:** Hi Katrina! TLDR Firewall management is already under development, but we can’t promise a release date yet. Full answer: As this app doesn’t generate a significant revenue, I cannot dedicate myself to it full time. Thus, I have to focus on features that are more frequently requested (coming next are lockscreen and droplet presets). Also, the firewall part of the API is more complicated than the rest of it and so I have to be very careful so the app won’t break your firewalls (cause, of course, we don’t want that to happen). That said, firewall management is already under development, but I can’t tell exactly when it’s gonna be available. Sorry for the inconvenience, I hope you understand. Btw, let me know if you have any other feature requests! ### 5/5 — Functional and efficient *2019-12-27* I’m still new to virtual machines and servers, and the app makes it simple to spin up a new droplet with the features I want and manage it when I’m not home. It does everything I could want and need, and doesn’t burden me down with nested or obscure menus. Great Job developers, and great job DigitalOcean for hiring clever developers! ### 4/5 — All good aside from a small bug *2019-12-22* Great app fits perfectly for my use case of occasionally needing to check in on my servers when I’m out and about. Let us know! ### 5/5 — Great app, ever better dev *2019-06-30* When I first bought this app, it had a bug causing it to crash when using a certain function. I emailed the dev to file a bug report, and within TWENTY MINUTES I had a response explaining that he was aware of the bug and that a fix was coming within a few days. Sure enough, the fix arrived quickly, and the app has been flawless ever since. As a plus, it also authenticates through the API, so you don’t have to worry about the app grabbing your credentials or anything worrisome. Also, the developer’s email bounces back and the website is offline, so it seems to me this app is not updated and not currently supported. ### 1/5 — Paid $3.99, did not work at all *2020-07-25* I logged in to my DO account, brought up the Droplet View, watched it spin for a while without showing any results. Tried again a few hours later and got a pop up message that I could not view the data. **Developer response:** Hi, Sorry this happened to you. It’s really odd since we’ve been receiving only 4-5 stars reviews for the last 12 months. This is probably an edge case, and of course, must be fixed. In order to fix it, we’ll need to replicate the issue by launching a droplet with the exact same configuration of yours. Can you please provide such information? Like droplet size, wether it’s a 1-click app, which OS it’s running, wether it’s from a snapshot and if so, what OS is the snapshot running, which features are enabled and so on. This issue was fixed on version 2.9.9! ### 4/5 — Good app, could have improvements. *2020-10-04* I’ve used this app to monitor my VMs while out and about. It’s pretty good- looks nice, and has all the bells and whistles. They even have a DNS editor! The only thing it needs is the ability to view monitoring graphs for CPU and memory. I hope it could do all what the website offers, but in general, this app fits nearly all of my expectations and I give it 5 stars gladly :) Also, giving Users informations about confidentiality while installing and using this apps would be greatly appreciated. The new generation of spying pass by data collection, by various methods, such as data sharing user data through apps, as shown in the book called “big data surveillance and security intelligence; the Canada case”. I love how easy and straightforward the UI is that almost beats the digitalOcean web ui. I hope you keep working on this app and keep up the good work. You making my life easier every day with this 😁 While I’m at it, the only two feature I feel is missing from this app is “storage” management (digitalOcean S3 network volume) and support to at least see the new kubernate cluster info. Right now they show up just like regular droplets but it would be really useful if we could see the pods/services/deployments status with memory/disk usuage. Then I don’t have to get off my bed to get on a pc to check it out 😄 **Developer response:** Wow, almost beats the web UI? Hahah that’s awesome!
