This application succinctly summarises the available information to help a clinician manage the following scenarios: 1) choosing the correct patient and correct dose when considering dabigatran for non-valvular AF, 2) managing patients on dabigatran coming up to elective surgery, 3) assessing safety of patients on dabigatran for semi-emergency and emergency surgery and 4) managing patients with bleeding on dabigatran. 
Its ability to be customised for local prescribing guidelines (US, Canada, Japan, Australia, NZ + Europe) and local test normal ranges is welcome.
There is no information on monitoring and treating patients with intentional or unintentional dabigatran overdose but to be fair there is little information on this scenario. Hopefully as more information becomes available this app will be updated into an even better resource.
