This news app reflects and concentrates too much on story’s of all the misfits in the Manchester area causing  public nuisances - I’m fed up of reading about the  murderers , drug takers, thieves and scammers doing their best to make our lives a misery. Depressing reading really. Life is not like this for the majority of us.

What has happened to the MEN ap? Why have they done this? I don't want to read a newspaper on my iPad, I want to see bullet points/ headlines which I can drill into, under chosen categories. How can I find the previous version?

If there is less than one star I would rate it in minus even! Obviously, It cannot be compete with the guardian or the BBC app. The iPhone version is much more better than the iPad one.

This is a not bad news app - the same as the Mirror - but the content is dreadful. The highlight of the day yesterday was a story about an uninteresting wag who ran from her car to the gym because she was so keen to get there. Who on earth would be interested in that cr@p? Surely even the celeb followers wouldn't bat an eyelid. But I guess that's what you get when you have a news app for free. Who's gonna pay for gathering all this news? The MEN has a great advantage over Fleet Street in that it can produce unique local content. It should just charge for it. I'd be happy to pay for what this newspaper used to deliver up but this is just drivel.

Why do u feel the need to charge for the app it's only Manchester evening news nothing special you can get the paper for free in city centre ????? Sort it out
