Two issues I’ve found is that when in the music player (when you tap on the bar above the page navigation to see the album bigger and get more music controls) it takes a few swipes down to actually go away. I’m on the most recent update (1.0.13) and have deleted/redownloaded a few. Being able to just swipe down once would be great! The last issue I’ve found is that an album with multiple disks sometimes stop at the end of the disk. Idk if this is a jellyfin or player issue, but if it is a Manet issue, fixing that would be phenomenal! Once again, this app is great! 10/10! Thanks for all the work you do! ### 4/5 — Loving it so far but *2026-08-12, version v1.0.13* Newest update has removed the shuffle button from tracks when you play via genres, please fix this asap because I constantly shuffle music and click on genres based on the mood I want to listen too Old behaviour had shuffle button inside each genre, new update has removed that and continue listening section no longer has genres as selectable ### 4/5 — Great Jellyfin Music App *2026-08-04, version v1.0.12* I’ve been searching for a full featured Jellyfin music app to replace plex amp and this does just about everything I need. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I’ve encountered an issue with CarPlay mode where the Album art doesn’t consistently display properly. That is, it’s missing entirely for almost every song. But using the app in my phone the album art is shown just fine. I do feel like some options to edit the home screen and navigation layout would be nice, but not a deal breaker. For some reason downloaded music, when selected as a playlist, appears to be playing (when not in wifi range) but produces no sound. Possibly a bug. Plays ok directly from downloads area. I’d love to financially support this app through a one-time purchase, but that is not currently an option, which is a shame. ### 5/5 — Best Jellyfin music client i’ve found *2026-07-09, version v1.0.12* Has a really clean look, and decently stable. My one gripe is that Manet+ doesn’t have a lifetime/one time purchase option. One of my main reasons for homelabbing is cutting out subscriptions. The free app has 99% of the functionality anyway though so not a huge deal ### 5/5 — Simply best *2026-07-06, version v1.0.12* It’s easily both the best in looks and utility; I tried every other jellyfin client on iOS and each looks bad and didn’t integrate the “Apple look” while this one looks like apple baked it. No notification, it’ll just skip half an album sometimes. If I manually try to listen to a skipped song sometimes it will play it after 10 seconds of waiting, other times it’ll skip the song again. My library is entirely .flac and other apps I’ve tried play them flawlessly, I’ve cleared cache but no luck. ### 2/5 — Full of bugs *2026-06-27, version v1.0.12* Kinda good player but also full of bugs that never seem to get fixed. Constantly forgets previous tracks so you can’t skip back to the track before in a playlist. Constantly redownloads every file marked for download, CarPlay interface is pretty basic ### 4/5 — Genuinely love it, but needs work. *2026-06-23, version v1.0.12* Honestly, this app has real potential, but its been very buggy for me, more so in CarPlay than anything else. If you shuffle your library you don’t seem to get album art, and if I ask Siri to play a song, it just says something went wrong with Manet (Plexamp works fine for example). Not only does this app solve those problems but it also has an amazing interface compared to Jellyfin. Also, I’ve noticed that if for some reason (loss of connectivity) the player can’t keep playing a certain song it will automatically skip to the next song. Downgraded to one star and moved to another app. Good at front end, no idea how to deal with the back end. Manet fit the bill perfectly. The interface is Apple-native on both mobile and desktop. It supports creating playlists, offline downloads, CarPlay, and many features I have yet to discover.
