Ads make it so I can’t read

I’m not complaining about the app having ads sadly that’s the new norm for every app, but the ads that pop up when I try to read literally ANY chapter have a close button that doesn’t work so I’m perpetually stuck staring at the ad with no way to close it. I came from the browser and saw there was an app, so I was surprised and tried it, turns out the app is unusable.
