## What is Mango Cancer Care?

ABOUT MANGO CANCER CARE

Mission: Mango Cancer Care Foundation (MCCF) is a not-for-profit organization working towards a mission of making targeted immunotherapies for cancer treatment more accessible and affordable for patients. The MCCF operates our pioneering Patient Benefit Program for cancer patients across our partner hospitals. The program is currently available only in India.

The MCCF works with our hospital and lending partners to improve not just access to medicines for patients, but also ensure optimal support for patients using these medications. We enable patients to access targeted immunotherapies with financial assistance in the form of low effective interest-rate loans and enable a unique payment mechanism wherein the patients’ effective cost of therapy is proportional to the medical benefit they derive from the therapy.

Mango Cancer Care is a free-to-use platform for cancer patients and their family members to apply for the program, track their therapy and treatment progress, and access information around nutrition, well-being, and overall wellness.



THE PATIENT BENEFIT PROGRAM

As the cost of developing new drugs for cancer keeps increasing, the cost that the patient must bear for these drugs is also growing exponentially – so much so that even with medical insurance, many patients are not able to afford these drugs and may miss getting the benefit of such new medications. Alternatively, many patients and their family members end up taking significant debt to find these treatments and must bear the financial burden irrespective of the benefit they receive from it.


Mango Cancer Care's Patient Benefit Program enables a payment mechanism in which the patients can access therapy/drugs for their ailments and only end up paying based on the medical benefit that they obtain from the therapy/drug. This is helpful for patients in cases where the drug costs are prohibitive for access, and the actual benefit may vary for each patient.

Patients who seek care at our partner hospitals across India and who are recommended treatment with medications covered under our program are onboarded onto our platform and benefit from counselling/guidance from our dedicated relationship managers. Patients may choose to avail low-interest financial assistance from our lending partners or choose to self-finance their treatment.

Throughout the duration of the program, patients receive dedicated support and concierge services from our empathetic relationship managers to guide them along the journey.
