Unless you pay more for the texting service. I receive a notification for every text we receive AND send. For the whole practice. There is NO SETTING TO TURN OFF NOTIFICATIONS for SENT messages. My phone blows up all day, so I had to turn off notifications for the whole app, meaning I can’t get calls away from my desk anymore. Infuriating lack of foresight. ### 2/5 — Just Broken *2025-12-09, version 3.2.2* You will be randomly logged out at which point you won’t be able to put your password back in to log in again. Just resetting your password also doesn’t work, you still cannot log in. The only thing that works is resetting your password then fully deleting and reinstalling the app. This has happened to me twice, please fix your app ### 1/5 — Not recommended *2025-07-30, version 3.2.0* I’ve used many voip solutions and this is by far the worst. Faxing magically stops and customer service has no idea why. I would look elsewhere for voip solutions!! ### 2/5 — Misleading demo/onboarding *2025-02-10, version 3.2.0* They say it fully integrates with your dental practice management software but when you get the service, you learn that you can not use their mobile app for anything, other than receiving phone calls. You can’t make phone calls because patient contacts are not synced in (and I’m told after the fact that they have no plans to be working on this), and you can’t text patients because apparently you can either use your practice management software to text or Mango. Not both. Feeling misled and that I was promised much more during the demo than what I actually got. ### 2/5 — Needs more features *2025-01-18, version 3.2.0* We used to have Weave app/software for our dental office and integrated beautifully and seamlessly with our old dental software. We switched to a new software that forced us to switch Mango claiming to be the ONLY software that integrates with theirs!! It has been 3 months already and we only rely on caller ID to know who’s calling, patient’s contact info is not saved or truly integrated to make it easier to call patients using the app on your phone, and you can only view/send faxes using the desktop app nothing on the phone app. A lot of inconveniences that we wish there was any transparency before we got scammed into switching to Mango and the new dental software. The agent first promissed verbally that my fax device would work fine with their system with no added fee. I signed the contract without looking into details. Now, the fax is not working and they want to charge me extra for a new fax adapter which is compatible with their system. Make sure at the time of contract, that you don’t rely on what the agent says , they easily write down something else in the contract. My agent’s name was Aspen. ### 1/5 — Not receiving calls *2024-09-17, version 3.1.11* Will not send the calls to the phone app anymore, the app doesn’t notify anything. There’s no point to have it ### 3/5 — Outbound calls *2024-09-05, version 3.1.11* I frequently cannot make outbound calls. I’ve been more successful using Google Voice. ### 1/5 — Bad app. *2024-07-23, version 3.1.10* Mobile app is terrible, it does not have the same capability as the computer version. Trouble recording voicemails on the app…easier to do it office. This is a problem in emergencies such as when a medical provider is stranded out of state due to tech outages Crowdstrike and has no way of actually getting to the office and has no internet….. ### 2/5 — App Glitches a Ton *2024-06-19, version 3.1.6* Can’t switch over to pick up calls when on the other line without calls always dropping. 50% of the time calls don’t pick up properly, go though or get dropped. Very frustrating. ### 1/5 — Faulty notifications *2024-06-07, version 3.1.5* I receive notifications despite having them turned off in the app and in my iPhones settings. Tech support tells me this is a known problem to them without a known solution. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Doesn’t ring consistently *2026-08-22, version 4.0.27* I’ve told customer support about this issue several times and it’s still an issue. If you’re startup business and rely on the app to tell you about incoming calls avoid Mango. Mango, you need to fix how incoming calls trigger the app to ring. I am not the only person with this issue. Read through older reviews. I’ve also talked to colleagues who use mango and have the same issue ### 1/5 — Audio issues *2026-08-13, version 4.0.25* Terrible outbound and inbound audio issues ### 1/5 — 0 stars *2026-05-26, version 4.0.14* Login never works even though the username and passwords are correct ### 1/5 — Bugs *2026-04-18, version 4.0.13* Too many bugs that requires reinstalling it weekly ### 1/5 — Rarely works *2026-04-02, version 4.0.10* Logging in rarely works. I use a password injector so there’s zero chance of typos. Same password injector works on mango voice website but on the app it works once out of the week. Once logged in, it’s a total gamble whether or not it works for that day - it’ll be in a constant error state with no way to log out or do anything. I’ve uninstalled, reboot, reinstalled to clear cache and same issues still. Absolutely unreliable and it’s an easy 0/1 star due to this. It deserves its low rating in the App Store. ### 1/5 — Glitchy *2026-03-26, version 4.0.9* I have reset my password multiple times in one day from the application installed on my iPhone. But we can always talk with a human within a few minutes with Mango. Super happy with the phones and the customer support. ### 5/5 — Awesome Companion to Mango Voice *2020-11-21, version 2.0.3* Mango Voice is an amazing, feature rich, and easy to use phone system that can be easily customized to do almost anything. Now, with this redesigned app, I can receive calls from the queue, ring group or my extension, on my mobile phone. I can check my voicemail and even see the transcription in the app. The calls (either direction) from my desktop phone or the app show up in a slick call log and calls on my mobile integrate into the iPhone call log, making it easy for me to keep up with calls. I give two thumbs up to the developers and everyone that is involved in making this app. With each update, major improvements are made. I like seeing apps with active development. Great job Mango Voice. I can start a call on my office phone, and then take it with me on my cell...how cool is that!?! Also, my office staff and co-workers can transfer calls directly to my cell. Finally, I love the fact that all of the features from my desk phone are available on my cell phone, like: transferring calls, accessibility to the Parking lot, Access to voicemails, AND EVEN RECORDING SOUND CLIPS! Which means that if I forget to record a Thanks Giving message while we are out of the office, I can Record it straight into my sound clips section...from home.
