## What is Manneung Viewer?

Opening a document should not require watching an ad.

Manneung Viewer opens PDF, Korean Hangul (HWP, HWPX), Word, Excel and PowerPoint files. No ads, no subscriptions, no notifications. No ads posing as updates, no free trial that turns into a charge, no sign-in. Tap a file, choose "Manneung Viewer", and it opens.

■ What it opens
• PDF: zoom, continuous scroll, full-text search, page grid, table of contents, encrypted PDFs
• Hangul documents (HWP 5.0, HWPX): tables, images, headers and footnotes laid out with the same line breaks as the desktop app. The first page appears in under 0.3 s; long documents fill in while you read. Password-protected files supported.
• Word, Excel, PowerPoint, RTF, TXT, CSV, images, Pages, Numbers and Keynote (via the built-in iOS preview)
• Illustrator .ai (PDF-compatible files)

■ Free features
• Search and copy, page grid, table of contents, go to page, bookmarks, favorites
• Share and print
• Dark mode with optional color inversion
• Recent files with last-read page (stores only a file reference, never a copy)
• Home Screen widgets: continue reading where you left off, or open a document in one tap
• iPhone and iPad

■ Pro (one-time purchase, not a subscription)
• Save Hangul documents as PDF
• Highlighter and pen annotations (6 colors, undo, saved into the original PDF)
• Rotate, extract, delete and merge pages
• Make a PDF from photos
• Add or remove a PDF password: a protected file asks for the password in any app
Restores on other devices with the same Apple ID. Viewing stays free.

■ Good to know
• This is a viewer. There is no editing, conversion, OCR or scanning.
• Hancom "distribution" (DRM) documents can only be opened in Hancom software.
• Hangul documents are rendered with bundled Noto fonts, so fonts may differ from the desktop.
• Office files use the built-in iOS preview, so search, highlighting and page editing are available for PDF and HWP only.
• The app never connects to the internet (except App Store purchase verification) and includes no analytics. Files never leave your device.

If a file will not open, send it to us from inside the app ("Report this file"). We will fix it in the next update.

This product was developed with reference to the publicly released HWP file format specification by Hancom Inc.
