Manta now feels at home on every device: install it on a new iPhone or iPad and your boats arrive from iCloud on their own — no setting up twice. New users get a short welcome tour that asks for the permissions Manta needs, right where it needs them.

• Import several GPX or trip files at once
• Add any log entry while recording — departure and arrival included, from your phone or a connected remote
• Tuck the recording away and keep browsing your logbook: it shows as a red "Current trip" card with the boat's live position — tap to bring it back
• Engine starts are detected faster, and course changes under motor no longer log as tacks
• The wave chart follows your weather corrections, sailing performance is rated against a realistic target, and the polar curves are smoother
• Type any reading straight into the log editor — wind, gusts, temperature, barometer
• A calmer trip replay: the boat stays on its track, and play shows the whole route
