I bought them for their ability to finesse focus in particular. But only Manual Cam gives you a very helpful 100% zoomed preview as you slide to adjust focus. Good job! I like the "toggle in" when focusing, as it can be extremely useful with the new iPhone (which has a better DOF). I like the app icon. It rinds me of HAL9000 ### 5/5 — Amazing just amazing! *2014-10-25, version 1.0.1* This app let me take such amazing low-light photos from my iPhone 4s that I NEVER expected! With the stock app, all the photos were dark and grainy but with this app, I could finally adjust the shutter time so that the photo sensor souls capture the maximum amount of light possible! This app helped me reduce noise in my photos and made all of my photos look much better. I would highly recommend this app to people who want more from the cameras built into the iPhone! If it works this well with my 4s, I think it will work even better once I get my iPhone 6 Plus!!! I would give this a 6/5 I I could!! ### 4/5 — Great App allowing low ISO photos *2014-10-12, version 1.0.1* Only request I have is please add a live histogram as an option when taking pictures. Otherwise the quality of photos this app allows is brilliant. While ISO 50 is still not as clean as a DSLR at ISO 400, the sensor is a fraction of the size. So not bad. However when you apply one of the filters or when you choose the 1:1 aspect ratio, the app crashes constantly. I am running ios8 on an iPhone 4s. I hope the developer will fix the crashing problem because this app is very creative and has good potential. . . . a few days later. Upgraded my stars from two to four. Have been using this app regularly and find it to be both beautiful and easy to use. It's rapidly becoming one of my go-to camera apps. Crashes seem to be less frequent, although they still happen, and I hope the developers will address this issue. All of this means less time looking and poking around in the UI and more time spent on getting the image right. It is a very good concept. I would certainly pay for an upgrade (heic support and a histogram, etc.) As a stills camera it doesn’t distract with gimmicky features that don’t help one make better images. Some of the filters are superb and film-like; others show their age and should be updated or removed. Please, push out an update for iOS 13. This one is done by a photographer with good taste. Intuitive, accurate, fast. + it gives pretty nice looking filters for lazy ones. It is less fussy than several of the competing manual camera apps. I have compared out with most of the other top rated manual camera apps and the images from this app are equal, if not superior, to any of the other IOS camera apps.
