However, after highlighting a bunch of text, the app now crashes on startup, even after force quitting and restarting my iPad Mini. Now I have to go back to a PDF file and re-highlight everything all over again. Just deleted this app from my device. **Developer response:** Hi BnRoberts, we had a highlight bug before and I'm so sorry for the troubles it had cause you. The ads jump all over screen and very annoying. We have a new flagship app "LawStack" where you can find MPEP and many other similar titles in one app. You can find it in AppStore. ### 2/5 — Has Ads...and No Appendices-worthless! *2011-12-23, version 1.3* There are in-screen pop-up ads. There are no appendices. Need to look up a bit of 35 USC or 37 CFR? Not there. This isn't worth downloading - just use uspto.gov - at least it's ad-free and complete. ### 3/5 — Solid app, missing appendices *2011-01-06, version 1.3* This is a solid app, but a glaring omission are the MPEP appendices. I am studying for the patent bar and it's annoying to have this MPEP app for some things, a web browser for others like 101, 102, 103, 112, all of 37 CFR, etc. These are in the appendices which are all included when you download a pdf of he whole MPEP, why are they not included with this app? ### 4/5 — Great start *2010-11-02* Very useful and quick reference. Searching seems to work well. I use it all the time. Two things needed though in an update: 1. Turn Section references into hyperlinks. 2. It isn't. Once downloaded, it requires an annual subscription of $19 to get access to all the chapters of mpep. Now the company has switched to subscription mode asking for same price for 3 months for the content that is free online. They have now denied access to my purchased App. All they do is provide free content, and for that they are trying to charge a ridiculous amount. Can't access any content because I haven't "purchased a subscription" although there is no option to purchase. This app is extremely useful for that purpose. I upgraded to have the latest version. Wish it also included a Pre-AIA MPEP version of the statutes and MPEP chapters that changed. Or just everything. I'd gladly buy that.
