But lately it just doesn’t work anymore mostly between the phone app and the watch app and things that go wrong during a ride. Come to track my heart rate I’ll start from the watch. And every the boy somehow during a ride, it becomes paused as I’m talking back-and-forth between or other things. I’ll start from the phone and find out that it didn’t trek GPS because of an update or something but that it wasn’t obvious when I was headed out. There are various other nits. What I need is an app that I start and start a workout and it pulls my heart rate from my watch and reliably tracking and records with metrics. I need it to protect its operation during that time from anything sweat, touches, poor connections, or anything else that might interfere with that data. Otherwise it’s useless. And completely inability to make this happen with Map My Ride means I canceled my subscription and I pulled it off of my devices. . I really hate all of the extraneous features of Strava and it feels complex and that’s the reason I’ve stayed with MMR, but no more! I’ll still avoid Strava as while I don’t get the same longitudinal tracking with Apple workouts, I at least get the data for my ride reliably. **Developer response:** Sorry to hear this!
