## What is Map Poster?

Your camera roll already knows where you’ve been.

Map Poster reads where your photos were taken — on your iPhone, never uploaded — and lights up every city you’ve visited on a map. Check in the places that matter and turn each one into a poster worth hanging on the wall.

YOUR TRAVEL MAP, BUILT FROM YOUR PHOTOS
• Every city you’ve photographed lights up, from your first trip to last weekend
• See how many cities and countries you’ve been to, and your progress in each country
• Open a city to see all its photos and where in the city you took them
• Replay your footprints month by month on a timeline, all the way back to your first trip
• See where you were on this day in past years

CHECK IN, ONE CITY AT A TIME
• Check in a city and it becomes a map poster in your Collection
• Earn 25 badges — first city abroad, 10 countries, both hemispheres, north of the Arctic Circle — and level up as your map fills in

YOUR WORLD AND YOUR YEAR
• The World Footprint Poster puts every city you’ve lit up on one world map, with the countries you’ve visited tinted and a list of your places — in Night Gold, Paper or Ink
• Year in Review tells your year in five pages — new places, your most-photographed city, countries and badges — and ends with a card to share

A POSTER OF ANY PLACE
Not only where you’ve been: make a poster of any city, the street where you met, the neighborhood you grew up in.
• Drop a heart, pin or star on the exact spot
• Write your own title and subtitle: “Where We Met · 2024.05.20”
• 17 styles — Noir, Ink, Neon, Blueprint, Midnight, Terracotta and more — or your own colors
• Crop into a heart, circle or arch, and add buildings and railways
• Export in 4K or 8K for print, or save it as your Lock Screen

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Photos are read only for where they were taken, processed on your iPhone and never uploaded. No account needed. You can give access to only some photos, or pick a few yourself.

FREE AND PREMIUM
Lighting up your map, checking in cities, badges, four poster styles and the last 12 months of your replay are free, and you can preview your World Footprint Poster and open the cover of your Year in Review. Map Poster Premium lets you save and share the World Footprint Poster, opens the full Year in Review and your whole replay back to the first trip, and unlocks all 17 styles, custom colors, heart, circle and arch shapes, buildings and railways, 4K and 8K export, and posters without the brand mark.

Premium is available as a weekly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it anytime in your Apple Account settings.

### 4/5 — Incredible resolution, perfect for framing! 🖼

*2026-01-30*

I was looking for a way to create custom art for my apartment, and this app is a game-changer. I was skeptical about printing from a phone app, but the 8K export is legit—I printed a large poster of my hometown and the details are razor-sharp. The minimalist themes look like expensive gallery art. Highly recommend if you want to DIY your home decor!

**Developer response:** Hi Perfecta! 🖼️
Thank you for this incredible feedback! We are absolutely thrilled to hear that the 8K export exceeded your expectations and proved that phone apps can indeed produce professional-grade prints.
It sounds amazing that you turned your hometown map into a large poster for your apartment—creating "expensive-looking" gallery art is exactly what we aimed for with our minimalist themes! We're so glad the details came out razor-sharp. Thanks for recommending us to fellow DIY home decor enthusiasts! ✨
