You can now leave photos on the map.

- Pin photos to places
Post a photo and it sits on the map itself, without a bubble frame. Tap to see it large, with the caption.

- Dropped where it was taken
Pick a photo from your library and it lands where the shot was taken. You can switch it to your current location any time.

- Posts stay longer
Posts now remain on the map for longer, so you can still find what someone left a while ago.

The Earth has started moving.

- Real planes in the sky
Aircraft flying right now cross the map, lifted by their true altitude. Tilt the map and the gap to the shadow tells you how high they are. Zoom out to the globe to watch long-haul flights around the world.

- International Space Station
The ISS is shown at its actual position as it circles the Earth. Tap it for a live view from orbit.

- "12 people walking the Earth right now"
See how many people are looking at the same map — the whole planet when zoomed out, just your area when zoomed in.

- A simpler live camera view
Just the video and the comments.

The world is now visible the moment you open the app - no account required.

- Browse without signing up
Posts from all over the world and 61 live cameras are yours to explore right away. You only need an account when you want to write something yourself, and whatever you have typed is kept - once you sign up, it posts straight away.

- A short welcome tour
Three cards show you how the map works. They appear after you have had a moment to explore on your own, and you can skip them anytime.

- Fixed: posts that never appeared on the map
Corrected a mismatch in the default location setting between screens, and fixed a bug where a post you had written could be discarded at the confirmation step.

- Links in posts are now tappable (long URLs show as a neat domain name)
