They are slowly fixing but progress should be much faster. Game struggles to keep players and pounds out 3 new servers a day. Typical on the servers these days but reasons for sticking around as f2p are few and far between. Game is very stingy with events with rewards being paltry if you’re not willing to drop hundreds. Even giving it 20 would get you basically nothing with how little it gives out. Change this so people don’t leave en masse upon realizing that this is about as greedy as it gets. It’s so bad that whales actually quit after realizing if you don’t spend it’s a lot of repetition/time for little reward. Game has a number of interesting features that would be fun if there was a decent amount of players still active. Fixing the above would help as well as letting the servers fill before making a new one. A whale will spend more if there’s actually competition… At this point you need to start merging previously merged servers. Not that games care. Besides the annoying bugs, the core gameplay itself is very uninteresting. This game is just an auto-quester clone, same as al the others on the app store these days. Just stuck at the server choice page. ### 1/5 — Terrible customer support *2024-11-10, version 1.4* No worth it, it’s pay to win, which I did, and I was fine with for a while, until a bug undid a bunch of my levels of the mount, lost about 2 weeks worth of time and $100 worth of crystals, did a bug report, customer service was very rude and tried to victim blame me saying I must have “remembered what level I was wrong” I was the first in my server with the mount and spent money to get there, they ultimately refused to compensate with replaced in game items. It’s a Very buggy game, audio issue, screen size issues with text overflowing the viewing area. Even the title suggests the obvious ‘inspiration’ from classic Maple Story. This fact alone is not enough to get a 1 star review. The reason I’m providing this game with a 1 star is because the marketing ads. The one ad I have seen showed a 3-D character model that picked up a chicken, jumped off a cliff, and slowly floated down a ridge; very reminiscent of a Legend of Zelda game. This game has no 3-D models. This game has no 3-D cliff sides to jump off. This game does not let you pick up chickens. This game may not even have chickens. This game earns a 1 star review because it is clearly Maple Story, yet advertises itself to be a completely different genre of game. Other reviews suggest the game also advertises itself to be like Celeste or Dead Cells. Don’t play this game unless you want to play a Maple Story clone. And, if that’s what you’re looking for, why not just play Maple Story itself? Oh yeah, this game is also buggy. Every time you open an item or grow a level, there is an error message about sound bytes. There is no way to disable this pop-up or change the sound options to prevent this constant pop-up. An error this frequent should not have gotten past basic play testing, but here we are.
