About

Open supported Google Maps place links from Safari in Apple Maps—without copying an address or searching for the same place again. MapLink for Safari is a focused Safari extension for iPhone and iPad. After a one-time setup, it checks eligible map links for a clear destination. When a supported link contains a readable place search, full address, or explicit latitude and longitude pair, it can open that destination in Apple Maps. ACCURACY BEFORE COVERAGE MapLink for Safari does not guess. Routes and multi-stop directions are never reduced to a place search. Links that contain only an internal place identifier, Plus Codes, map viewport coordinates, ordinary Google pages, and anything unsupported or uncertain are not converted. These links remain on their original page. The app does not replace the system default maps app and does not take over links outside Safari. EASY TO SET UP • Follow four illustrated steps inside the app• See the correct Settings path for your version of iOS• Turn on the Safari extension and allow the listed websites• Open the built-in Apple Park test link and complete the check in Safari• Revisit Supported Links, Privacy, and Support whenever you need them PRIVATE BY DESIGN Link parsing happens on your device. Map links, addresses, coordinates, and browsing history are not uploaded or saved. The app does not read your clipboard or request your location. There is no account, sign-in, advertising, analytics, tracking, subscription, in-app purchase, or developer-operated backend. LIMITED WEBSITE ACCESS The extension is scoped to google.com, www.google.com, and maps.google.com. It does not request access to every website, and ordinary pages that are not supported map destinations are left alone. MapLink for Safari is an independent app and is not affiliated with Google or Apple. Google Maps and Apple Maps are trademarks of their respective owners.
