MapLink for Safari

Turn a supported Google Maps place link in Safari into the matching destination in Apple Maps—without copying an address or searching twice. MapLink for Safari is a focused Safari extension that acts only when it can interpret a destination with high confidence. It recognizes compatible place searches, complete addresses and explicit coordinates. When a link does not meet that bar, it stays where it is. Careful by design: • Supported place links can open the matching destination in Apple Maps. • Routes, identifier-only links and ordinary web pages remain in Safari. • Invalid, ambiguous or unsupported links are left unchanged. Private by design: • Link parsing happens entirely on your device. • No account, advertising, analytics or tracking. • No clipboard access or location permission. • No developer-operated server. Getting started: 1. Follow the four-step Setup guide in the app. 2. Enable MapLink for Safari in Safari Extensions. 3. Allow access only to the listed Google Maps websites. 4. Use the built-in Apple Park link to test in Safari. MapLink for Safari does not replace the system default maps app and does not handle routes or every Google Maps URL.
