A comprehensive platform for finding places that matter to you: MapLocs.

Creating a unique combination of Map + Locations - MapLocs helps you search, find and locate your favourite places nearby without having to rely on the built-in maps app for rudimentary directions. Simply search for places using the location detection functionality in your phone or type in the location you're going to find places to eat, drink, or shop. Use MapLocs to find Banks, ATMs, Restaurants, Bars, Cafes, Mechanics and Hospitals or choose from nearly 70 other categories of places around you! With MapLocs you won't have the trouble of trying to figure out where your places of interest are.

Use MapLocs to search within specific proximities and then use this functionality that plugs into the built in map app to help navigate to the selected place.
