Maps on the go

I would recommend MapMe app for person who is interested in making map especially on go. It will take some storage on the iPad but it worth it with all your maps are located in the app and easy to edit them and save them on the iPad and or cloud. Plus you can download the finish map to the your photos. The developer of the app is very kind and resourceful, they do engaged with the customer with both answer to a problem or need advice on how to do things on the app they are willing to answer and help. Finally there is MapMe+ an option for a person that have or prefer maps asset’s they like to use when make their maps. It comes in Monthly subscription, Yearly subscription and One-Time payment option.

Wonderful, just not quite what i need

after moving all of my DnD related stuff to IPad, this app seemed great as an alternative to dungeon scrawl, which i think the creator might have assets on, at least some of them looked familiar idk, anyway, it was great for making landscapes, but kind of lack in the super fine details (i was attempting to make a map of a city in my campaign) and i had to make every building from scratch (kinda). It’s a great app and I’m sure my explanation is under par, just not quite what i need. That being said i do see this app being very very good in the future if the dev keeps up the awesome work

Hey! So glad you have it a shot! I’d love to hear what was missing for you and see if I can either help figuring stuff out, or maybe you have an angle on the product I haven’t considered yet, which other people might be missing too. I’d love to hear your thoughts and maybe I can widen the focus of the app to make it more fitting for you. If you’re down to talk, send me an email at ferdinand@nandme.app and let’s chat :)

Blank Screen - Could Not Figure Out Customer Support (UPDATE!)

There isn’t much to say right now. I didn’t see many reviews so I wanted to go ahead and try it out.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t do anything but play with the map size from the edit button. After picking a size, I realized there were two options to select. I could cancel, which worked, or I could choose available assets, which did not work despite having the free trial assets downloaded. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still didn’t work.

I also tried to figure out how to get in touch with the developer team, but couldn’t figure that out. Basically nothing happened, but I am interested in trying out this app. It looks like fun even though it’s a more limited free version.

And, yes. I’ll update my review if I am able to actually use the app. But right now, I just don’t know what I could be doing wrong.

UPDATE: It’s fixed! After a few months, I revisited the app and it works great! I watched the quick start video and followed along with no problems. For a free iPad app, it’s great! I wanted something quick and easy for when I have my iPad around but not my laptop. This fits the bill! I’m just starting out so the free version will work for now. But I’ll be keeping an eye on the paid content.

It’s a good free basic map maker for fantasy role-play with additional options available for purchase. I’m very happy to be able to update my review!

UPDATE: So happy I was able to get the stuff fixed for you! Thanks for updating the Review and helping out with getting things right. I don’t take this lightly and am so glad it worked out :) Hey! Thanks for trying the app! That sounds quite odd and is not expected behavior, so feel free to shoot me an email at ferdinand.werner@mapmeapp.com so we can get you up and running :)

Too many bugs for $9/month

This app is really promising but it simply doesn’t work well enough to justify the cost.

Response from developer

Hey, I just dropped a new Update that fixes a ton of bugs. Can you see if it works better now? I'd love to fix all the bugs you encountered. Hit me up via Email (ferdinand@nandme.app) or on Discord and let's squash them together. :) Cheers, Ferdinand

Amazing app, unfortunate pricing model

I’m gonna start by saying this app is really promising for making maps on the go. And regardless I hope the developer keeps up the good work. One of my gripes at the moment is only subscription as an option. A lifetime license would be greatly appreciated (Even if at higher cost ofc). I’d most likely instantly buy it to be able to use this on the go but subscription models just are not something I like supporting. Genuinely a great job so far on this app though and keep it up ☺️

Response from developer

Hey thanks so much! I just dropped a new update and the app should be much smoother now. Also there's some cool new features which make it much easier to make maps quickly. When it comes to the pricing model, I've actually thought about making a lifetime options. Hit me up on discord or via Mail (ferdinand@nandme.app) if you want and I can see if I can make that happen. Cheers, Ferdinand
