### 3/5 — Question

*2022-04-27, version 2.9.6*

How many points can you put on a route?

### 1/5 — Pointless

*2021-03-04, version 2.9.4*

I’m really not sure what the point of this app is at all. I should have read the reviews first because then I would realize it was literally made for no reason. The description is very misleading as just like many others I got this app to optimize my travel route and it does not do this. The only thing this app does is drop pins on a map and let you do the rest (it doesn’t even have navigation capabilities) if you want an app so you can randomly drop pins on a map to look at (because again, that’s all you get) then this is the app for you! If you feel like splurging you can pay to drop even more pointless pins onto your map (free edition only lets you drop 10 pointless pins. Disappointing, I know). This app performs even less than a basic GPS which is a hard bargain to beat. If you have a smartphone, the gps it comes with does more than this app with the added bonus of not having to pay for it. Just save yourself the time and skip this app.

**Developer response:** The point of this app is to allow the user to create a multi-stop route. It does not "Optimize" a multi-stop route, and never claimed to do so, so this reviewer is not telling the truth about the app. Often in navigational apps, the software may generate a route that may be "efficient" but does not meet your needs. For instance, you may want to create a scenic route, not a "fast" route, so by adding pin locations in this app you can make the software create a multi-stop route that is scenic but is not a machine generated "Optimal" route.

### 4/5 — Using for my bus route

*2020-01-30, version 2.9.2*

Working great but I can’t figure out how to change a number of a pin.

**Developer response:** To change the order of the pins, go to Menu>List Places in Route. Then tap the "Edit" button and drag the listed place to the position in the route you wish to move it to.

### 5/5 — Great app!!!

*2019-08-16, version 2.9*

Very useful map plotter for work. Mark spots I have been, to log later, and create points I need to visit that day. Thank you

### 5/5 — Tremendous

*2019-05-20, version 2.8.9*

Gets me where i need to be with the quickest way and gets me closest to my destination

### 2/5 — Doesn’t work

*2019-05-03, version 2.8.9*

I needed an app that would optimize my travel plans automatically. All this does is place pins on map and list them by order of input. So far, seems bogus.

Update. No need to purchase anything, use the free app and simply look at the map to see which of multiple locations is “closest”.

**Developer response:** This app never claimed to optimize routes. It allows the user to create routes of up to 26 locations in the order desired by the user. After creating a route, the user can change the order of the locations in any order they desire. You can add locations numerous ways including using the geocoding information of any photos on your device or iCloud. So I don't know why this flexibility is "Bogus".

### 1/5 — Stupid app even stupider app creator use route4me

*2019-05-02, version 2.8.9*

This app would not work the way I needed it to so I asked for a refund and he said it does everything it should. Map 5 addresses Wow that’s helpful

USE. ROUTE4ME

**Developer response:** The user can create a route of 5 or fewer locations for free. Optionally, The user can purchase the routing option which allows the user to create a route costing of a maximum of 26 locations. The user ignored this limit, which is clearly mentioned in the app description before they made the purchase, then demanded a refund when it did not create a route constituting of 107 locations, which is far beyond the limit of 26 locations. I suggested to the user that he simply split the large 107 location route, into smaller routes (Route1, Route2, Route3 etc) consisting of 26 or fewer locations. Problem solved. This solution was ignored by the user, and he continued to demand a refund, which I feel is unjustified since the app works as designed and described in the app store.

### 4/5 — Storing Favorites by Name, Not Address

*2018-07-20, version 2.8.5*

I need the plotted addresses to show by the favorite label I created, not the address. Can you make this change?

**Developer response:** The user can change the name of a favorite or any other location by simply typing a new name while viewing the detail information for a location. This has been a feature since the app was first created many years ago.

### 5/5 — Invaluable app for trip planning

*2017-05-21, version 2.6.1*

In planning a trip, this app proved to be very useful for creating, visualizing, and saving several different maps that feature daily itinerary routes. Unlike a previous reviewer, I was able to place a location pin on the map by tapping on it (using an iPad Pro); although, I mostly utilized the search functionality to add specific locations onto the route. I purchased the extra features ( routing & save data) as they allow me to save different versions of routes and email them as well.

### 1/5 — Does not create route by touch

*2017-05-18, version 2.6.1*

I downloaded this app because it said you could create a route by touching the map. This is not true. It does not work on my iPhone 6s. I will be deleting this app.

**Developer response:** Locations can be added to a route by multiple means including simply touching the map. The user needs to hold that touch for about a second for a location to be added to a route. If a location was added instantly as soon as a user touched the map, without a 1 second delay, it would be impossible to zoom, scroll or pan the map.
