Good app for finding historic sites near me. I use this in the U.S. and in Europe. Good way to find neat sites or learn more about the sites I am close to.

Love this app when I travel to see interesting sites around me to see what happened in the area.  Great way to get some local flavor.  Can’t wait until they do the world.

This app helps scratch my history itch by addressing two things no other app or historical tool does. It fills a void in my historical knowledge of important occurrences by providing spatial contextualization. It is nice to see exactly where things happened and how their geographical position is important to the grander story. This app also makes it easy to learn about things that don’t make it in history books or classrooms, such as neat historical buildings from early settlers near where I live.
