I eventually had to log into Google.com and adjust the extensions there. It’ll open the ADDRESS of the location, not the business itself. It’s a minor inconvenience, but also sort of defeats the point. I want to be able to click on a Google link and have it open the details page of the link on Apple Maps, not just pinpoint the raw address. It works for Apple headquarters, but not anywhere else. The directions say tap here to go to Google. Tap the menu bar for Settings. There is no menu bar for settings. I’ve tried setting extensions on the iPhone to turn it on. Still doesn’t work. Don’t waste your money. Clicking on the first link in those directions takes you to google app, or google web page in safari, not Safari settings. You don’t get “manage extensions” for google within the browser. Second, if you go to settings/apps/safari and turn on the mapper for safari extension, clicking any “get directions” link that normally takes you to browser based google maps directions or google maps ap, still takes you to google maps, not apple maps. I want my buck+ back.
