However it really is in desperate need of updating to its routing logic. As someone who religiously listens to music while driving, and hasn’t used iHeartRadio since 2015, this is a MAJOR dealbreaker for me. It’s hilarious how many reviews refer to the app as being “New” when to most of us 40+ you are the ultimate OG. Frankly, MapQuest has always been superior to Google in terms of user friendliness & as a fan of the K.I.S.S. Philosophy your route planner/optimization feature is supreme. The only thing many of us would love to see is better privacy features- specifically sharing our data with third parties within the app. More people are starting to get wise & care about this stuff. I realize this data sharing is tied to revenue. What about a paid version of your app opting us out of sharing our data? Would that be a reasonable middle ground? There are plenty of other privacy forward map apps, so locking this down = increased long-term loyalty for MapQuest. However VS g and i maps it is terrible. Settings adjustments are minimal when it is open. On the way home from Lancaster PA it gave me three options, 2 going by Baltimore (495 or 95) a done using no highways heading west. Even though I selected that last option (no highway) at one point while driving it directed me to I83 to head to Baltimore.
