## What is Mapwright?

Mapwright  is a calm tile-placement puzzle game about building maps one piece at a time.
Draw the next square tile, rotate it, and place it beside your growing map. Match terrain edges carefully: forest connects to forest, river to river, road to road. Clean placements expand biomes, grow regions, and help you score more points.
Some tiles include quests that ask for specific layouts, such as surrounding an area with forest or extending a river to the right length. Closed cities, roads, and rivers can bring extra rewards, so each placement can shape the whole board.
Play through an Atlas campaign with 48 levels across 6 regions, or continue building in the endless Cartograph mode. A daily map offers a fresh challenge with streak tracking and personal best scores.
Use valid-placement highlights, quest tracking, board pan and zoom, undo in campaign levels, the codex, and a guided tutorial to learn each system. All campaign levels are checked for solvability.
