Aber….der Sinn der Sache für mich ist ja die Karte offline zu benutzen. Und da wird es plötzlich kniffelig, was mir wenig sinn ergibt. Die updates sind massiv (Baden-Württemberg 1,1Gb), aber ab dem Punkt wo das update raus ist, hab ich kein zugriff auf von mir runtergeladene Karte. Fazit, ich muss vor jeden Ausflug update checken, runterladen (immer mindestens 1Gb pro Gebiet) und nur hoffen, dass wenn ich mehrere Tage unterwegs bin, meine App mit irgendwelchen funken von Signal nicht die info kriegt, dass das Update da ist und ich kann im Wald Signal suchen gehen. Die Möglichkeit ganz simpel auf meine Smartwatch einfach die Karte zu sehen wäre toll, und war mein eigentlicher Grund wie so ich Premium Konto gemacht hab, aber nein, das ist nicht so ganz einfach. Und strecke planen geht nur über internet Seite, aber die Übertragung ins Händy ist easy. Will dennoch nicht schlechte Bewertung da lassen, weil abgesehen von technischen Problemen ist es die App die jeden Brunnen, jede Hütte oder Feuerstelle drin hat, perfekt lesbar ist und nicht Akku in 2 Stunden auffrisst. **Developer response:** Danke für Ihr ehrliches und wertvolles Feedback 💚 Das mit den Offline-Updates und der Uhr verstehen wir als echt unpraktisch und geben es gern ans Team weiter. Does not select Mtb tracks even when routing for Mtb, two points on a river will not auto route by boat. **Developer response:** Good day, Thank you for your review, and we're sorry for the inconvenience. You can add waypoints to a route, but they need to be placed on routable paths or roads. Unfortunately, it is not possible to place them in locations without accessible paths, such as the middle of a forest. MTB routing should work normally. However, boat routing is currently available only in the Czech Republic, so it is not possible to plan boat routes in the UK at the moment. Обидно, что после стали платными многие ранее бесплатные функции. А еще после последнего обновления пропал «профиль высот» и вообще не показывает набор, если маршрут простроен через несколько точек. I tried finding local addresses and unfortunately the app could not find it. Looks like this may be set for European countries for now. Search quality can vary by region, and some local addresses may not be indexed yet. ### 5/5 — Excellente application *2026-01-08* Une excellente application avec une carte Open Street map, très complète qui surpasse les cartes des autres ténors du marché sans les citer. Pas de pollution avec des publicités prépayées. Les centres d’intérêt d’une région y sont présents avec les liens Wikipédia. La seule application d’itinéraire qui a su combiner bus tram train et Flixbus sans erreur d’horaires, en comparaison des autres applications du marché qui n’ont pas su le faire. Le choix d’itinéraire en voiture est plus complet que Waze qui vous oblige à prendre les grands axes. En navigation la carte sur le rond-point est vraiment superbe. Le point d’amélioration est la limitation de vitesse pas toujours juste et la localisation des radars fixes. La fonction horizon AR est un plus qui vous permet de reconnaître les sommets qui vous entourent. La carte sur la montre est réactive. Happy to give you money but no response in technical issue and few good staff in office. Mapy is a horrible mess. We need secure map file and push pin also offline for intranational secure team. The part which is paid is irrelevant and non sensical base upon compete market app. Fix sync every time load the app. Sync should not take time. Load the push pin. Stop the map update until request. It consume life energy with globe network data. Stop the constant crash. Allow I to delete a push pin through select on the map. Allow I to edit a name through touch on the screen. Allow I to define the type of push pin like include in the map database with similar or different display map icon. And get back to I. This is in short to technical was more in deep. As this cater to front end use and good people who read. It crashes when I try to open it. Please fix it guys. Im on iPhone 15 Pro MAX latest iOS version. ### 5/5 — Has most bike trails labeled in traditional map format *2025-10-19* App has most every bike trail (paved and mountain trail) in an easy quick map. This has been ideal for someone like me traveling and planing destinations based on what is in an area. I do use many of the dedicated biking apps for both mountain and path rides and find them useful on the trail and for reviews but am often frustrated trying to look around an area to see available. **Developer response:** Good afternoon! However, not only can I not create an account - as it fails to send a verification code to my email - but one has to login in order to get support on the login issue. Catch-22 in action. I can also see from reviews that I’m not the only one to have issues with login verification. Sorry, poor UX. ### 1/5 — cannot delete app *2026-03-27* I cannot delete the app off my phone, and there is no feedback form to resolve this. Support responded with by giving me the general directions on how to delete the app, and a link to contact support. The directions were identical to what I tried before. I tried again and it will not delete. My intention was to use it for hiking, in much the same way I use my OS app in the UK. We ended up using it for much, much more. In towns and cities being able to locate WCs and public water taps was fantastic. Then I realized I could use it as a sat nav when driving - it became my preferred choice. Also navigation around Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, Florence and many other towns and cities was superb (6.5 mile walking in Florence. Fantastic app that I have already recommended to friends who are heading to the region later this year. Brilliant app for hiking as well. ### 5/5 — Absolut genial *2026-05-27* Endlich mal eine richtig gute, europäische Alternative zu Google? Ich weiß gar nicht ob man von Alternative sprechen kann nachdem Mapy meiner Meinung nach so viel besser ist als Google! Die Navigation funktioniert hervorragend, auch wenn man mal kein Netz hat und das inkl. Geschwindigkeitsanzeige und Blitzer-Warner. Wenn die Geschwindigkeiten manchal auch nicht ganz exakt stimmen, stört mich das nicht wirklich. Bzgl. Offline-Navigation: ich hatte keine Offline-Karten heruntergeladen und musste nach gestarteter Navigation meine mobilen Daten beim Durchfahren der Schweiz deaktivieren. Mapy hat die Route trotzdem exakt gezeigt und fängt einen direkt ein sobald man mal falsch abbiegt. Gerade bei Ausfahrten in einer Gruppe ist Mapy Gold wert! Bei Google wird man - trotz vieler Wegpunkte - immer wieder auf alternative Routen geschickt oder fernab der eigentlich geplanten Route geleitet, sobald man sich verfährt. Mit Mapy kann man Routen genau planen und mit mehreren Fahrzeugen abfahren, ohne dass einzelne Fahrzeuge des Konvois auf einmal auf einer ganz anderen Route landen… **Developer response:** Guten Tag, vielen Dank für Ihre großartige Bewertung. Die App bietet übersichtliche Routen, zuverlässige Navigation und viele nützliche Funktionen für Radfahrer. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass sich Strecken schnell anpassen lassen und unterschiedliche Fahrradtypen berücksichtigt werden. Die Bedienung ist einfach und verständlich, auch längere Touren lassen sich problemlos planen. Die Karten sind klar dargestellt und die Navigation funktioniert zuverlässig. Für den Preis bekommt man wirklich viel Leistung.
