## What is Maqam Analyzer?

اكتشف أسرار الموسيقى العربية من خلال تحليل المقامات في الوقت الفعلي، واكتشاف النغمات الدقيقة (Microtones) بما فيها أرباع الأصوات، والحصول على تحليل فوري للسلالم الموسيقية والتنقلات المقامية (Modulations)، مما يساعد الموسيقيين من جميع المستويات على فهم الموسيقى بعمق أكبر وتطوير مهاراتهم الموسيقية.

Maqam Analyzer is the ultimate tool for musicians, students, and enthusiasts of Arabic and Middle Eastern music. Whether you're playing an oud, listening to a recording, or exploring a new melody, Maqam Analyzer instantly identifies the maqam scale, tonic note, and tempo of any music — in real time.

Live Microphone Analysis Hold your device near any instrument or speaker and let Maqam Analyzer listen. Within seconds, it detects the active maqam, updates live as you play, and delivers a full analysis including confidence score, tonic (key), BPM, and the complete scale structure with interval cents.

Upload & Analyze Already have a recording? Upload any audio file and get a deep analysis: maqam classification with probability rankings, tonic detection, tempo (BPM), modulation timeline showing how the maqam shifts across the track, and a quarter-tone pitch histogram.

Maqam Reference Library Explore a comprehensive library of Arabic maqamat — Rast, Bayati, Hijaz, Nahawand, Saba, Kurd, and many more. Each entry includes the full scale structure, interval breakdown in cents, microtonal (quarter-tone) notes, emotional character, and common modulations.

Quarter-Tone Support Arabic music uses microtonal intervals not found in Western scales. Maqam Analyzer natively understands and detects quarter-tones, giving you accurate results that Western music apps simply can't provide.

Key Features: • Real-time maqam detection via microphone • Upload & analyze audio files (MP3, WAV, and more) • BPM / tempo detection • Modulation timeline — see when the maqam changes • Quarter-tone pitch histogram • Full maqam library with scale visualizations • Note display in Letter names or Solfège • On-device processing — your audio never leaves your device • Clean, dark-themed interface optimized for mobile

Privacy First All audio processing happens entirely on your device. No audio is ever uploaded or stored on our servers.

Finally something to help finding the maqam of the song. The nicest thing is that even if you are not familiar with maqam, the app will give you the exact scale and key to play on your instrument ( for me keyboard)
