## What is Maran?

Read the Bible, understand each passage and remember Scripture with guided studies, memory practice and quizzes.

Maran brings Bible reading, guided study, Scripture memorisation and quizzes together in one app. All published learning features are free, with no subscription required to unlock them.

READ AT YOUR OWN PACE
Explore available Bible translations, search passages, and keep bookmarks, highlights and personal notes. Listen with the available voices, including restored existing narration options. Audio uses the translation identified in the player; its wording may differ from your chosen reading translation. Translation and audio availability varies.

UNDERSTAND THE PASSAGE
Explore basic studies, available deeper and theological studies, and links between verses and chapters. Deeper studies are prepared in advance with AI assistance, rather than generated when you read them. The published study library covers selected chapters; not every chapter has a deeper study. Study material is a learning aid, not Scripture itself. On-demand AI generation is not available.

BUILD LASTING RECALL
Save unlimited memory verses and practise Scripture with guided memory tools, flashcards and scheduled reviews. Test what you have learned with chapter quizzes, advanced custom and adaptive quizzes, all 100 Bible Trivia levels, and learning insights.

FREE PUBLISHED LEARNING FEATURES
Bible reading, search, bookmarks, highlights, notes, published studies, memory practice and quizzes are available without a paid subscription. Only published study content is included.

Core reading does not require an account. Cloud syncing of personal study information is an optional choice. Existing subscriptions are not automatically cancelled by this update; manage or cancel them in your Apple account settings.
