It feels clunky and can be very confusing. Not very user intuitive. It does function, but my 17 year old could design a an app that’s better laid out. ### 4/5 — Pretty Good *2026-08-06, version 3.13.1* My AV30 is connected to via Ethernet to my home network. Connections are 100%, no issues. This app really needs a dark mode for dark room watching. The web interface can be dark but the controls are sluggish compared to this app. The Blu-Ray input changes the user interface to a bunch of disc controls but they only work with compatible players. I would rather have it look like all of the other inputs/controls. ### 2/5 — Not great *2026-06-19, version 3.13.1* This app takes a long time to find the AVR on the network, if it ever does. I just log in via IP address to do what I want. En fait fonctionne correctement sur android et une horreur sur iOS. ### 1/5 — Really? *2026-04-28, version 3.13.0* We have a Marantz SR6008 amp and all of a sudden the unit can’t see the Marantz Remote app. The new AVR app doesn’t support the model. No solution and no way to connect to use. Very unfair and inconsiderate. Having to spend funds to buy a new amp to talk to the current app when the previous version was working just fine is ridiculous. No thought of customer service and the silence is totally unacceptable. So really. It used to be optional. The account cannot be created on a computer, just in the HEOS app. Horrible and not customer friendly. I don't care about HEOS music, I just want Wi-Fi. Tracking users? ### 1/5 — Worst AV App I’ve ever used *2026-03-23, version 3.12.5* This app is the absolute worst and the opposite of the Marantz quality. Horrible user interface. Settings reset after being changed. Clunky to say the least and that’s when the app works. I’ve been waiting for years for them to update the app, but not only has the app not changed, it’s gotten worse. You’ll notice that they’re also old. I’ve just downloaded it for my Cinema 70 and it seems to work fine. It has a nice, clean interface, it’s easy to navigate and it’s pleasant not to have turn on the tv to access the AVR’s settings. I like it, so there. Maybe, those folks with serious issues should look closer at their routers, modems, intranet, and internet, as these Marantz AVR devices are network devices.
