It’s not as big as Letterboxd obviously, but that gives an opportunity for your reviews and lists to gain more traction as you’ll be one of the first to review some of the lesser known ones. It’s a little buggy at the moment but makes up for it by just being super easy to use. Def recommend if you’re looking for a “Letterboxd but for TV” ### 3/5 — Needs Ways to Block Users *2024-12-03* I like the app so far but it needs moderation features on the user end to be able to hide reviews, block, and report. Perfect concept ### 4/5 — I love this app but… *2024-03-06* This is what I’ve been looking for in atv tracking app. Absolutely brilliant. The only issue is it’s dreadfully slow. I’m not sure if it’s animations or just sluggish but I’ll press a button, I’ll get haptic feedback a second later and then about 2 seconds later the press will register. It’s not bad enough to push the score below 4 because everything else is just about perfect. ### 4/5 — Great app, could be better *2024-02-01* Love this app. I wish it was easier to add a rating after completing an episode, some immediate option would be great. It’s cumbersome to have to go to the episode, hit join discussion, and then post your star rating. In the profile there are paused shows under the “watching” list. It would be better if watching only contained shows in progress that are not paused. ### 4/5 — Add Rewatch Feature *2023-12-16* I love this app, but I want there to be an option to log that I’ve watched a show multiple times. The only way I believe I could set notifications for shows would be to pay a monthly subscription. Why can’t there be a free app option? This app get 1 star because I uninstalled it the very next day, and couldn’t get any notifications from it.😞 ### 1/5 — honestly? a letdown *2024-06-09* i’m able to add plenty of things to my watchlist but the app will not let me select watch all or even a season on its own. i have to add every individual episode at a time, which if i’m trying to add a long series i’ve already seen it’s incredible tiresome and tedious. also every time i click the “my first watch” tab on a show page the app crashes immediately. i deleted and redownloaded, logged out and in, i don’t really know what else i could do to fix it. it’s a shame because i was excited to use the app, i love watching tv shows and i love reviewing them. **Developer response:** I’m so sorry that you had this experience with Marathon! It gives me notifications when new episodes are airing and I can see a calendar log of shows upcoming. It is super easy to mark off each episode you watch as well and I haven’t ran in to a show that isn’t in the database.
