However, it doesn’t always work as intended and will end up either freezing or not letting someone join etc. Kind of a letdown ☹️ ### 4/5 — Good But With Flaws *2022-06-24, version 2.3.0* I Think Marble Knights Is A Good Game But For Some Reason I Can’t Join My Friends Group And I Have A Game Center Account. Now no longer works on child accounts under apple family share. Can not create nor join games. All screentime settings look correct. Other multiplayer apps still work properly. Was a fun family game until this issue. ### 4/5 — Great multi-player Apple Arcade addition *2020-11-09, version 1.3* This is the first Apple Arcade multi-player game that I was able to get my 7 and 9 year old to play (mostly) cooperatively! It reminds me a bit of the 1980s game where greed can score you more points than the others. On the big plus side, we were able to hook up 4 game controllers to the Apple TV and all play at once. Unfortunately, the current version seems to have troubles playing multi player across devices. You need to get the mechanics are down at the beginning, but you get used to the marbling effects. Even those without the video game gene (like my wife!) can contribute to the team since falling off a cliff allows you to rejoin the party fairly quickly. I’d recommend this for those of you looking for a game that will let you progress even if you aren’t the most intense gamer. ### 4/5 — Ok it’s good but.. *2020-11-08, version 1.3* It’s good but the levels are so long I played multiplayer and me and my friend are stuck the gate in the third level witch means it’s challenging that’s fun but a little to long and a little to challenging ### 5/5 — Utterly Amazing *2020-11-04, version 1.3* This game is utterly amazing. I played all the way through and love Orbin’s humor. This game is very humorous and has a proper age rating. I don’t want to spoil the game, but I just love the Mean-o-Taur! Don’t know what the point of collecting stuff is for, but perhaps this game was originally not intended for Apple Arcade. Solid controls too. ### 3/5 — Starts out fun, gets boring due to no achievements *2020-10-17, version 1.2* The graphics, sound, and mechanics of the game are all very good. The “point” of a game though is to achieve something, not just hack and slash until the game runs out of levels. It needs work to prevent repetition and boredom. Coins and gems do nothing for the player so why bother, especially single player. Like the Spyro games, this game could have easily implemented a “find all the gems” for each level. Then we would have had fun exploring your nice graphics and puzzles to achieve something. A bonus would be if each player had their own unique abilities. Now I would be tempted to play your game at least once for each player to try out their abilities. ### 2/5 — Broken multiplayer; annoying rather than challenging *2020-10-11, version 1.2* Attempted to play multiplayer with our kids but it failed each time. We were all on the same network sitting next to each other. Unacceptable in 2020. Also, this game is filled with irritating impediments instead of skill-honing challenges. Additionally there’s meaningless collectibles and a complete lack of character upgrades. Still didn’t finish it… the stages are way too long for a mobile game. Uninstalled. ### 1/5 — What’s the point?!? *2021-03-14, version 2.0.0* so this is a role play game but all characters have the same abilities which is basically attack. What’s the point? And after each level you start over? What’s the point? What do you do with the money and gems you collect? Where’s the store to upgrade equipment? There isn’t any? Then WHAT IS THE POINT! This game is rated EF.....Epic Fail. Full disclosure I didn’t get past the second level after spending the time to replay the first level with all characters thinking I need to give them all money and experience. As I started the second level my money was ZERO and no stars on my marble. Complete waste. Deleted it immediately. ### 1/5 — Multiplayer Doesn’t Work!! *2021-02-25, version 2.0.0* Trying to play online multiplayer with my son and the game won’t allow him to join my party. I disabled Screen Time on his phone and tried again and it still didn’t work. Error said “Your Game Center account doesn’t have permission to play online” and I can’t find that setting anywhere. Other reviews state the same thing. The developer needs to fix this ASAP. ### 1/5 — Amazing design, however. *2020-10-12, version 1.2* The design is amazing, however there are times when perspective isn’t so great and moving platforms don’t line up with ledges and cost. Can get frustrating. Maybe a controller works better, but those on a phone, more lives lost/with cost than worth it. ### 1/5 — Issues almost immediately *2020-09-18, version 1.2* Was able to play through the tutorial, but once it gets past the intro and brief conversation at the beginning of the first level, the screen shows the 3 bubbles on a black background and flickers. I can hear the sound effects in the background, but there is no video. iMac 2013 Quad-core i7, 16GB RAM, nVidia GeForce GTX 780M 4GB ### 2/5 — Would rate higher - but glitches on the ice scorpion boss *2022-04-30, version 2.3.0* Every time we get to the ice scorpion boss, believe stage 3, about 60 seconds in, after his tail comes apart and then he reforms he just glitches, stops moving, can’t be injured, but you can still get hurt if you get too close. No way around this issue mid-game. About to delete from our Apple 4K TV. ### 2/5 — Can’t play online if parental controls are enabled *2021-07-24, version 2.3.0* This game is fine, I guess. My son wanted to play online and I’ve already set all the Game Center permissions to allow, but it still says his Game Center account isn’t allowed to play online. He can play tons of other GC games online. But apparently he needs permission to have unrestricted access to porn in order to play this online. Two stars because the game isn’t total crap, but this is a pretty ridiculous restriction when I have all GC options set to ALLOW. ### 2/5 — Why not sync??? *2021-07-16, version 2.3.0* I mean: it’s Apple Arcade, and it uses my Game Center log in. Keep up the good work Wayfoward! ### 5/5 — Online Multiplayer issue - fun local multiplayer *2021-01-24, version 2.0.0* I was wondering if anyone else is having issues with using the ‘Join a party’. I suspect it’s related to the Game Center account being under a minor (my daughter). I made sure I set up the correct settings under her Screen Time (I.e. I set it to ‘Allow’ for all the Game Center Content & Restrictions categories). Situation occurs in Apple TV (4K) and iPad (10.2 gen 8). Side note: Joining A party works fine in Lego Brawls - so I’m thinking it’s an app specific issue?!?
