## What is marble.fit?

Marble is a private workout journal built for fast logging, focused training, and clear progress.

Record weights, reps, distance, time, RPE, rest, notes, bodyweight, and supplements without an account, ads, or tracking. Your core data stays on your iPhone or iPad.

ADD A WORKOUT IN YOUR OWN WORDS
- Paste or type natural language, gym notation, multi-day Notes, or a Hevy or Strong CSV
- Let Apple Intelligence structure prose on device when available
- Review every workout, exercise match, set, date, RPE, rest, and note before saving
- Keep working with deterministic on-device parsing for notation and file imports

LOG WITHOUT LOSING YOUR FLOW
- Repeat your last set or use Save + Next for quick logging
- See personal-record targets while you enter a set
- Start and finish focused workout sessions
- Build weekly splits and reusable sprint prescriptions
- Track rest with an in-app timer, Live Activity, Dynamic Island, and rest-complete alert

UNDERSTAND YOUR PROGRESS
- See weekly goals, estimated 1RM, personal records, and training consistency
- Review Daily Highlights: a private evening recap of truthful same-day progress
- Track bodyweight manually or import it from Apple Health, and correct a weigh-in if a number was wrong
- Compare strength relative to bodyweight with a per-lift DOTS score
- Explore muscle-group, rep-range, effort, supplement, and calendar views

REACH MARBLE FROM iOS
- Add the Weekly Goal widget to your Home Screen or Lock Screen
- Log a set, repeat your last set, and start or finish workouts with Siri and Shortcuts
- Find exercises through Spotlight
- Open quick logging from Control Center, the Lock Screen, or the Action button

BRING IN MORE WORKOUTS

- Scan handwritten workouts with on-device text recognition and review before saving
- Optionally send completed strength sessions to Apple Health

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
- Export and restore a portable JSON backup of your persisted training data

- No account, Marble server, advertising, or third-party tracking

Just your training, clearly recorded and clearly understood.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.4 — 2026-09-02

Marble 2.4 makes adding a workout radically simpler.

NEW
- Add is now an AI-first workout composer: paste or type natural language, gym notation, multi-day Notes, or a Hevy or Strong CSV.
- Apple Intelligence structures prose on device when available; a deterministic parser handles notation and provides the fallback.
- Review every workout, exercise match, set, date, RPE, rest, and note before anything is saved.
- Drafts survive tab switches and relaunches, and Shortcuts can hand text directly to Add.

IMPROVED
- Strong exports handle European delimiters, decimal commas, kilograms, distance units, and supersets more accurately.
- Hevy imports preserve failed sets, RPE, notes, and session timing while skipping warmups.
- Weak exercise-name matches default to a new exercise instead of silently merging with the wrong movement.

Parsing and review stay on-device. Marble remains local-first: no account, no ads, no Marble server, and no third-party tracking.

### 2.3 — 2026-08-19

Marble 2.3 makes it easier to train, log, and see progress without extra tabs.

NEW
- Train, Log, and Progress: Calendar and Supplements live inside Log. Planned sets with history complete in one tap.
- Typed and paste import: bring a Hevy, Strong, or Notes workout in as text, parse it on-device, and review every set before it is saved.
- Sprint V6: tenths-precision timing, a stopwatch, and more than one plan per sprint exercise.
- Editable weigh-ins: correct or delete a bodyweight entry so a typo does not stay in your progress.

IMPROVED
- Marble now runs on iOS 26.0, down from 26.2.
- Reliability fixes across backup restore, number entry, and system controls.

Marble remains local-first: no account, no ads, no Marble server, and no third-party tracking.

### 2.2 — 2026-08-03

Marble 2.2 brings your training goals, quick logging, and progress beyond the app while keeping your data private.

NEW
- Weekly Goal widget for the Home Screen and Lock Screen, including quick log from the medium widget.
- Siri, Shortcuts, and Spotlight support for logging sets, repeating your last set, and starting or finishing workouts.
- Daily Highlights, a customizable private evening recap of truthful same-day progress.
- Bodyweight tracking with manual entry, Apple Health import, a bodyweight trend, and per-lift DOTS relative-strength scores.
- Three-step onboarding and a central Settings screen for units, weekly goals, reminders, Health options, backups, and privacy.
- Control Center, Lock Screen, and Action button access to quick logging.

IMPROVED
- Rest Live Activities now include +30 seconds and End controls, a rest-complete alert, and a clear stale state.
- JSON backup and restore now covers every persisted data type; photo and video files remain on your device.
- App Intents refresh widgets and reminders after logging, and restored data refreshes system surfaces immediately.
- Trends are faster on large histories and include accessible Audio Graph descriptions.
- Widgets support Smart Stack relevance, tinted rendering, and a dedicated privacy manifest.

Marble remains local-first: no account, no ads, no Marble server, and no third-party tracking.

### 2.1 — 2026-07-21

Marble 2.1 makes it easier to plan a workout, stay in the flow, and keep your training history yours.

NEW
- Workout sessions: start, log, repeat, and finish a focused session while every set remains in your Journal.
- Sprint prescriptions: set distance, reps, a target time or range, and rest; each completed rep keeps the exact goal it was judged against.
- Exercise Library: search, favorite, create, and safely edit exercises from one redesigned home.
- Custom exercise icons: choose an emoji or SF Symbol for every movement.
- JSON backup and restore: move a complete local training record between devices without creating an account.

IMPROVED
- Weight-unit normalization keeps lb and kg comparisons accurate across history, records, and trends.
- Release-upgrade coverage now verifies the complete production model before launch.
- Data management explains exactly what is included in a backup and what stays on-device.

Marble remains private and local-first: no accounts, no ads, no tracking.

### 2.0 — 2026-07-15

Marble 2.0 turns Trends into a coach. Everything is computed from your own logged sets, on your device.

NEW
- Your Lifts: estimated 1RM trend per lift with an honest verdict — progressing, holding, or adapted — compared at matched effort (RPE), so backing off never reads as stalling.
- Records: a feed of your genuine PRs in Trends, plus a quiet best-at-every-rep-count table for each exercise.
- PR in reach: while logging, Marble tells you when a weight or rep record is close enough to chase today.
- Double-progression hint: when every set tops 8 reps at the same load and manageable effort, Marble names the classic next step — with the evidence, never a command.
- Weekly Goal: set your sessions-per-week target and build a week streak that forgives — hit 4 weeks in a row to bank a flex week that absorbs a miss, and comebacks are celebrated.
- Monthly report: sessions, volume, and PRs with fair same-point-vs-last-month comparisons, plus short insights computed privately on your iPhone.
- Muscle groups now show weekly hard sets against the 10–20 set guide, count pressing/pulling assistance fractionally, and remind you when a muscle hasn't been trained lately.
- Send sessions to Apple Health (optional): completed training days export as strength workouts with your effort score, so Marble sessions count toward Apple's Training Load.

IMPROVED
- One quiet, adaptive weekly-goal reminder that cancels itself once you've trained.
- Best Weight comparisons are now unit-safe across lb and kg.

Marble remains local-only: no accounts, no ads, no tracking.
